I liked it a lot better than I expected it to. I have one of these pets already, but I thought the basic one was so well done, there were other pets in the options that would have made for better combinations. So seriously, props to who has now made the first pet I've actually liked in many of the basic colors, and that includes vibrant, which I relegated to being an unsalvageably awful color otherwise.

I really like the recolors, especially the aqua one! It makes basic colors less boring because of how intricately it's colored. Props to the artist! :D
