for the bachelorette party, if the bride doesn't know what she wants to do, maybe her friends know what she likes to do? Get together with a couple of her other good friends and brainstorm. If she is a drinker: you could take her to a bar she likes or a nightclub or two or three especially if they're all in walking distance of each other. If there's a touristy or night life strip area near you that would be the place to go. You can get matching t-shirts or tank tops made with a slogan, I saw some when I was on my trip on some bachelorette party groups. If it's a small party and the clubs or bars she likes aren't near each other, you can hire a limo to drive you all from one to the other as you get drunker.

If she isn't a drinker, a movie and/or game night might be good. Find copies of all the best bachelorette party or comedy wedding movies to show (at least two). Make her favorite snacks and hang out. If you think she might be into it, you can have a singing telegram, dancer or stripper come by (gauge her comfort level with this first if possible). Get a copy of the game "Cards against Humanity" and play it - that's hilarious fun for non drinkers that can give some of the fun of being drunk and silly.

Well I am down in the dumps. got some bad news today, twice in fact. my oldest grand daughter was in an accident. Thank God she is okay.
then at hubby's kidney doc appointment , his kidney's are worse so in three months we are talking dialysis. just not sure which way we want to go with it.

How about a scavenger hunt? Some of the ladies from where I used to live, put together a scavenger hunt for a friend of ours. First it was dinner and drinks and then it was off to one of the malls. They had several stores which they got permission in to do all of this stuff in and it was pretty fun. All of the stores were themed for after the wedding lol.

Dinner, movies, and games would be fun too. My bachelorette party was alright, but my friends didn't stop the drinks coming when it came to accepting drinks (cause I was the bride). It ended pretty early. If I could redo it, then it'd be low key for sure.

That is kinda what we had discussed to begin with but I can’t tell if she wants to do that or what DX

I got this weekend out of her as a maybe but she said she also is taking bridals and then she didn’t message me about when that was sooooo lol I mentioned the game night at home and going out and she didn’t seem down for either DX

Part of the problem is I am her only female friend so its just going to be the two of us. I have mentioned staying in watching movies and going out but she doesn’t really seem down for either. About to give up on trying to throw her one altogether cause when I originally mentioned it she said she would rather do something with me and her husband lol

LOL! I would rather just spend time with him too but its a bachlorette party! No boys!! XD In fact for mine we went out and got old timey photos made, then went to shops in Ft Worth and then went dancing and came home and we drank with my husband and his guy friends.

Yours sounds like it was a lot of fun, i'd have rather do something like that then what we did. We went to Austin. It could have been better though.

Ummm, her husband is a boy HAHA! Does she like getting her nails done or anything like that? Spa day sounds nice, brunch, a day at the spa, maybe a movie, and then go home.

That sounds good too, but like she has now limited me to one day but says she doesn't know when she will be available that day for us to even do something and its this sat soooo makes it kinda hard to plan DX

I got to get offline and clean up a bit. The maintenance people are coming in to fix up the toilet in the master bath. The hose broke and ended up spraying water everywhere, thankfully Eric turned it off before it could get any worse. Chat laters!

aahhhh, you the the shrieks from battling Nightlady. heh. maybe this year. i'm getting close. lol it's taken me a year, but i'm slowly getting there. who knows. if i keep "auto" training her, maybe my pet will at least be able to give Nightlady a run for her sps :D
