Hah! I knew Hale had to have real meat burgers! Speaking of meat! Hubby grilled the 2 T-bones I bought and it was the best steak I've ever eaten in my life! And I just ate more steak then I've eaten in years!! Plus, the scallops he grilled were awesome too!! burp ;-)

My dog doesn't like fireworks either. We don't hear many, but there are people who shoot them off, even when they aren't supposed too. Hopefully your pup will be alright.

You're right, there is a Star Wars show, I wasn't thinking of the cartoons and expanded universe haha. I've heard the Clone Wars show is pretty good, although I rarely have time to watch anything during the school year. I have seen bits and pieces of the Christmas special, it was very, very bad! I grew up watching mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but my house definitely has a Star Trek preference over Star Wars.

ok, I watched ET the Extra-Terrestrial (I had seen it before... a couple times I think, but it had been a while) and April and the Extraordinary World (an animated movie) on Christmas Eve and on Christmas respectively, on Netflix.

and on Amazon we watched the Indiana Jones movies (Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade) ... had seen those before too, but again it had been a while...

so... that's it. I'm almost done with the book I was reading. Been playing video game mostly (Secret World Legends) as a new thing to do, it is pretty interesting. I like how the whole second section is based on Stephen King books (there's a writer guy named Sam Kreig who seems to be inspired-by, but his writing isn't as good by the samples they give you in game... but also a lot of the monsters and missions seem to resemble various works by King).

I pinged you about and the birthday event she is having at the end of January. Maybe coming up here for the weekend. I haven't started drinking yet, maybe soon.

No drinking yet, but soon though! My dad and the hubs made chicken, bbq sausage, and sweet potato fries. My dad also made a salad. Dinner was yummy!
