changing the net neutrality rules won't change anything about subeta right away. (well, unless Bug quits, that would mess Subeta up I suspect :( ) It just makes a legal/regulatory situation where some ISPs might make other sites faster or subeta connection slower, at some future time, and not be fined for it like they would if they did it now. I don't think it will affect Chinese restrictions on internet sites at all because it's a US law.

Subeta already has cloudflare and I think they will probably be paying whatever the extra cost is going forward, so I suspect subeta will also be fine.

Mostly it's political currently. Also remember it's completely a regulation, and even if they remove it now, a future administration might reinstate it (especially if they affect people's favorite web sites too much and cause a huge backlash), so the companies won't do much irreversible, too much risk of future impact.

I'm very happy to be back at work, but I'm grumpy and PMSy so I also am irritated at being back at work ;)

I was so exhausted I went to bed super early last night (before 11 pm, that is really unusual for me). So I got 9 1/2 hours of sleep, I should be all set for today 💙

I would deal with the lag and stick around if net neutrality changed, as long as it didn't like cost a ton of money to access Subeta! I think that's a reason Bug was saying he might have to quit if it was changed, because it could interfere with people's ability to work, access Subeta, and afford access to the sites they frequent.
