Hi everyone! sorry I haven't been chatting here in the past day or two but I was distracted by the free shop I think... and my sleep pattern got really messed up so I'm feeling super weird.

Anyway I read the last five or six pages and see lot of new people! Hi new chatters :)

I was new to subeta just in March this year I think so I'm still learning how to do stuff. battling isn't as complicated as it looks because at low levels you can only fight the easy opponents anyway. It's just a matter of learning who those are... doing the first five levels of battle quests usually gives you one of them randomly so that helps.

Some things I learned so far - bombs are great. feathers are even better (they heal you up). Scrolls help too and you can use one along with two weapons every round.

Some things I still don't get: how do you make a default equipment thing? I keep trying and a different one keeps being 'default' :)

Anyway I'm terrible at it and my pets survive (the healer restores their hit points for cheap) thank goodness that at least Lesik and Meeshah seem into it (the other ones don't care to fight much... and the random ones don't even want jobs, what can you do... and poor Prosha is in a job that wants employees to weightlift)

For quests... Wizard is good for money if there isn't too much lag (he only pays you if you return fast, otherwise you only get tokens). Saggitarius quests are often good for money but sometimes barely break even. Cynthia also gives you money. The other quests give you items you can sell or use... often fairly rare ones but usually not extra valuable. Major Drills occasionally gives you quite valuable things but other times worthless things, it's pretty random. Battle quests only give you weapons.

Event places are often found on the news page down the right side... check there for new things to do.

There's a ton of history of subeta I was reading about recently. Does anyone know where to find more information? I read the tvtropes page about subeta and found a lot of interesting things... and a bunch more from reading subetapedia :)

I tried the wizard's quests for the first time last night. And wow. I must have done everything very quickly, because the wizard was just showering me in SP. It was amazing.

Thanks! I've had her since she was 2 months old :) She loved the snow and didn't want to come in for awhile hehe.

It made for good pictures at least lol. The hubs drove for most of it and I tried once and he was holding on to the "oh shit" bar the whole time haha!

I am ready for the passage of time, as always, since we have no choice in its passage. giggles I only wish I had accomplished more in the past year so I felt better about it.

I've gotten some interesting things from the free shop including two Tier 7 weapons and (so I can't use yet for a while... but hopefully will be nice when I can) and a few rare wearables (that I probably will struggle to use... one seems to be a Blackheart item and the others old subeautique items and and this a cash shop item ). Mostly I get Melody items though , or random shop items and . I hate getting the gross food items (poo pastry, pus sandwich and the like). They make me nauseated to even read the names.... O.o

I got a 500 CR gift card but I don't think it was from the free shop - I think it was from an achievement? At least, it appeared in my inventory at the same time I got an achievement notify so it's my best guess.

It was either the Melody regular or the Full wardrobe achievement as I got them right one after the other ...

That is strange that you'd be dropped without knowing the reason why if you didn't drop it or anything. And they do offer online classes but none of the ones I am required to take are offered online from what I remember or else I probably would have done at least one of them (the one that's in the later evening).

First time in a couple of years D: really worried Hale too.
