Hi! I haven't been online in the longest time and i would really LOVE a fresh start. Is it possible to delete my account and create a new one? I don't want to continue on this account.
Thank you in advance!
[@-YuuCute] I would file a ticket to get be sure, but I think that's not allowed.
There are lots of ways to change things with your account, if you're unhappy with it. Like your username, or pet names.
I am not interested in changing anything about my account. :c I like a fresh start with things, i haven't been online in years and i want to start collecting things from scratch. How exactly do i file a ticket? Thank you!
[@-YuuCute] you can file a ticket here. i'm guessing general help, or maybe account issues.
though, i'd suggest selling everything and starting over that way? most things can be obtained again, but you have retired achievements from past site events, so if you end up starting from a completely new account, you'll be permanently losing some nice forum titles.
[@-YuuCute] It is not allowed, you have to continue on this account.
[@-YuuCute] It is technically possible to self-freeze and create a new one, but between the time of your freezing and creation of a new account, you have to wait a year for this account to clear. So it's not really plausible in the short-run.
So, I recommend doing what others have said and selling all of your items, changing your account name, pounding your pets and getting a new start that way.
Wouldn't it be possible to delete/freeze this account and create another one with a different e-mail? I'll try to file a ticket too
[@-YuuCute] No it's completely against the rules to have more than one account on this site, even if you freeze your current and rejoin on a new e-mail.
But when the account is frozen it would not be used anyway right? so you really only have 1 account when you make a new one?
[@-YuuCute] Well, self-frozen accounts can be unfrozen by contacting staff. So if you did that, you would technically have two active accounts on this site. Which is against the rules.
But wouldn't the staff see that you have another account when they want to unfreeze it? They should be able to see there's another account on that IP connecting.
[@-YuuCute] If you haven't been online in a long time, you probably will have some Loyalty Boxes available by visiting this page that will let you get things like pet slots or a free username change.
I understand wanting to start over, but getting rid of the items/sP/pets/etc. that you can get rid of is about the best you can do. I'm not 100% sure but I think if you get caught with multiple accounts, your original account is the one that they don't freeze anyway so unfortunately there's just not a lot you can do
This is extremely untrue! Please do not follow this advise. Accounts do not clear. (This is a good example as to why we always recommend filing a ticket for rule clarification -- you can get bad info from other members, however well-meaning they may be.)
As indicated by site rules, you are strictly limited to playing on your original account. The exception is if your account has been frozen by staff for a major rule violation (or repeated violations, etc.) and your account is permanently suspended. In that case, you are typically permitted to rejoin on a new account when 12 months have expired from the most recent date of freezing.
Well no, they don't clear. but they do become inactive after a year. If your account is inactive after a year, you can't make a new account? Sorry, I was going off the old rules. What you said is what I thought I was saying? Between self-freezing and making a new account, she would have to wait a year for the ability to create a new account.
Self-freezing and being frozen by staff are two totally different circumstances.
A self-frozen account does not clear and the owner does not become eligible for the creation of a new account. That account can be unfrozen at any time by the owner, and if the owner wants to play on the site again, they must use their original account. The account going inactive is not grounds for the creation of a new account. They may lose their username or pet names, but are given the option to rename for free upon their return.
An account that has been frozen by staff and is permanently suspended cannot be played on again, obviously, and they are not allowed to return to the site for 12 months from the date they were frozen by staff, at which point their only option is to make a new account (because the old account is lost forever as part of the "punishment.")
I hope this clarifies a bit.
AH, okay. I hadn't realized circumstances changed, thanks!
