It used to be that you couldn't leave for 30mins without threads being bumped off the front page in Chit Chat. I'm pretty sure I got most of mine from RPing though, but that forum is super dead now, sadly. ):

I'm working on it right now. It's so hard, because I don't want to just pop into threads to say random stuff, but it feels like that's the only way. I mean, it's always relevant posts, but not like posts that I feel I need to contribute to? This chit-chat forum has been helpful, but I still have a long way to go :(
