Application for Chantilly

Why This Pet: I absolutely love love more classical sounding names, and I have honestly looked the name up at least half a million times |D
Why Me: Because I guess I am one of those pet people, who's pretty much only on subeta for pets. I've been into the game since I started playing subeta over 11 years ago, and I'm all about creating OCs/TCs/all that fun stuff! A lot of my profiles are sadly basic now, because I thought they'd be temporary and then my computer killed itself and I lost... everything. A bit of a set back |D... but all the same my pets are my subeta!life and everyone on my profile has some degree of clarity (concepts, links, some still have stories, most have expansive TCs, etc).
Future Pet Plans: Chantilly would 100% be connected to my little crime family cluster of characters (Nicolas, Romeo, Alonzo, Tango, and Vincenzo). The short of it, is it's a crime family that branches off of a once prestigious family in Italy. Only Nicolas is part French and there's been nothing but conflict over the non-pure (pure italian) roots and at some point his father back in Italy dies "of totally natural causes gais" only not so much, which is in attempt to purify the tree. Lots of stealing, death, backstabbing, and all of that good stuff. Chantilly, would be absolutely involved with the backstory inb4 taking the money and running to America (it's a french name after all, it's perfect). I could easily see her being related to him (cousin, more than likely) and definitely in on it, probably due to the amount of conflict it's caused her side of the family. Bonus points for her being female, which is like.. no the mob doesn't do that.

Application!
I can definitely lay out my plan for her. I've actually been looking to get more female characters so this is a great opportunity, since I've had this idea in mind for quite a while. I'd plan to make her either an Experiment or a Spectrum Pherret, I'm not too decided on that yet. I'd be looking to make her a monster make up artist/creator in the movie industry, so her treasure chest would have monster masks, monster make up sets, and a lot of cosmetic items. She'd most likely be connected to Emery, who is a fashion designer and will help her come up with unique designs to her monster creations.
I do have some pet spotlight wins, but admittedly a lot of my pets are unfinished due to real life getting in the way (as usual.) I am making an effort to finish my pets up though, and they're definitely not as empty as they were a few weeks ago. I've been on Subeta for a very long time (October will be 10 years wow), so I know I'm not planning to leave or disappear anytime soon. Some of my spotlight winners are: Voodoo , Oblivion, and Lanvin.

Application for Eddy!
Pet Name: Eddy
Username: girl
Why This Pet: Funny enough, but the name 'Eddy' reminds me of the character from Cartoon Network's old 'Ed, Edd, & Eddy' show, which I watched religiously with my younger brother when we were little. Unfortunately, my brother passed away in 2014, and this name struck me as a reminder of him nearly instantly.
Why Me: I have been an active user of Subeta for over ten years now, taking small hiatuses only for work and school when the need arises. My only issue is putting my ideas for pets onto their profiles, as I am a stickler for perfection. I, too, have a soft spot for real-word or real-life names, so Eddy would fit in perfectly with my little Subeta family. Additionally, I am near graduation for my degree in computer programming and engineering, so coding is something I am quite fond of; I don't have many examples because of switches in computers over the years, but I plan on revamping many of my pets' profiles into something specific for them.
Future Pet Plans: While I do enjoy how Eddy looks currently, I would more than likely change her gender to a male, to fit with the 'Ed, Edd, & Eddy' theme. As for a pet color, I am torn; I feel she (potentially 'he') would fit a Nostalgic Antlephore quite well. I would plan to stick with the Nostalgic theme and color because of the connection the name has with my past. Story-wise, I would like to stick with something involving the memory of my brother, because that is the strongest connection that I have with this name that I'd like to involve. I remember that show! Eddy was always the 'boss'. I'm more affected by how the name sticks with you because of the connection to your brother - that, to me, is more meaningful that TV show nostalgia. Thank you for sharing - you are on the applicant list.

Why This Pet: I've just always loved the word and the delicate way it rolls off one's tongue.
Why Me: I suppose because I have a myriad of ideas for her? Like I have so many possibilities for the name because it's just perfect to me.
Future Pet Plans: OH BOY I GET TO RAMBLE AT YOU FOR HALF AN HOUR. I'll only tell you like... two of my ideas because I love them oth but not quite sure in the direction I want to go in, but they're viable here.
- I've always been attracted to antiquated themes, like a broken bird in Victorian London, and Chantilly would be absolutely lovely to bounce this idea off of, evolving it into a tale of her strength and following her dreams.
- I'm a fan of the trilogy Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. In this world, there are creatures known as chimaera, but they're a race as opposed to the Greek myth, and I have a favorite design I made in wardrobe here. You can't tell from the dress, but her legs are wolf haunches, and her horns of a ram, making her a ram-wolf chimaera. In this series, there are chimaera who capture the souls of dead chimaera to keep them from disappearing until they get a new body made for him. I would like Chantilly to be one of these chimaera, singing the souls into her thurible (the soul capturer) and caring for them while they get a new body made. I don't have a full plot line for her yet, but I'm confident in my ability to think up one.

Ok, so. Currently I don't have anything on my pets' pages, but that's because I haven't been active at all due to uni, and I've now graduated and find myself with time again. That being said, I plan for all my pets' characters to be in the same, cohesive universe which is in return is based on a novel I'm planning.
I can give you examples of what the idea behind some of my pets are:
Informer is an information broker, of which no one actually knows their real name. They're said to know everything that goes on in the capital and country, and to have the ear of not a few noblemen in high positions.
Futurist is one of the head magicians at the academy, and is known for his use of magic in powering mechanics. (He's actually turning steam work today!)
As for Fynch, I would plan for him to be a smuggler, having built himself an empire in the underbelly of the capital, based by the sea.
For Vonn, I imagine him to be royalty, and I'd like to turn him reborn to fit that majesty.

Why This Pet: I love real names, and this name particularly means a lot to me. I can't tell you how many times I've searched for this and other variations (Eddie, Edmund, Edward). This is an amazing opportunity to apply for a dream name of mine. Eddy is, in my mind, short for Edward, a very close real-life friend of mine and I would love to work with his name.
Why Me: I've been actively playing subeta for over 9 ! years. I'm here for the pets, mostly. It's a great site to channel my creativity and build OCs. If I could adopt Eddy, you could be sure that I wouldn't be disappearing anytime soon. You can see the sort of characters I make on my profile. Most recently, Francesca won the pet spotlight. I also love the work I've done on my pet Cyndie.
Future Pet Plans: I would change Eddy's gender to male, firstly. I would like for him to be a part of Loraine's story: she's an orphan living with her Uncle in a crumbling chateau in rural France. Eddy would work on a nearby farm and would be two years Loraine's senior. The sixteen year old would actually end up spending a lot of time with Loraine and the two of them would grow quite close, potentially a romantic storyline could develop for them both. He is quite serious and hard-working, and has a look of summer about him with his sun kissed cheeks and hay in his blond hair! He would be drawn to Loraine's creativity and adventurous streak and she would like his maturity and intelligence.
They often explore the countryside together but find themselves caught in strange limbo: they are both between childhood and adulthood, and they are between a reality and a fantasy world. There is something magical in the area and Loraine and Eddy share a fate that means they can see what others can't: faeries and the like.
I don't want to get too ahead of myself, and it's just a basic overview of my ideas, but I'm sure he'd be a great addition to my 'pet family'! Good luck making your decisions!

Why This Pet: The Name is one of my close OC's. Basically he is an angry German Chef whom teaches a cooking class in college, He meets a student who bucks up to him and even gives him a nickname. All sort of events happen, and they start to fall in love, where he then takes her in and teaches her more things, realizing her talent.
Why Me: I am often busy. But I always get on and I've recently started working on my pets. If chosen, It would mean a lot, Though if not I do thank you for giving the chance. This pet will not go unloved. <3
Future Pet Plans: I might turn him into a Sweetheart Telenine, (Once done.) And I hope to make him the pet of my OC.

Pet Name: Eddy
Username: Chii
Why This Pet: I love the name! I've been scouring for good male names (if chosen, I would change the pet's gender) for years and I am so happy to have come across Eddy!
Why Me: I'm an avid pet-lover and long time member! I love working on my pets, giving them characters and roleplaying with them. I put a lot of time into coming up with an array of different characters. I'm quite happy to say that I have 3 spotlight winners and 6 nominated pets. c: So you can be assured that I'm definitely going to make him a really nice profile, give him some pretty art and an overlay, and of course a wonderful story.
Future Pet Plans: I'd like to turn Eddy into a young heir who is basically spoiled rotten and does not know the hardships people go through until his family is murdered and his wealth and power are taken away from him. He escapes, however, when and he is mistaken for a servant boy (possibly while playing dress up) and spared. Left with nothing, he goes through what very normal people go through and he changes through experiences, homeless and cold, all alone, getting his hands dirty and doing things he would never have imagined doing while he was still an heir. Sort of a life changing story, of how the great "Edward" became an even greater "Eddy".
