Yeah, I find finding a good top coat is kind of key, but also some brands wear better on people's nails than others. I have a huge variety of polish from different companies, and some of them wear well on me (even with my outdoors-y, hands-on job), and others will chip overnight haha! Being in water all the time would be tough though, you could maybe try a gel top coat, one of the ones where you don't need a lamp? I bought a couple KBShimmer polishes, Colors by Llarowe and Cirque -- all from a website called Harlow & Co., which is a Canadian indie polish carrier, and my only chance of ever getting my hands on any of those brands haha!

Hmm The last thing i bought was a book, The Hidden life Of Trees. 10/10 would recommend.

Next thing im buying within the next week are some Organic Cotton Menstruation Pads. I got some bad allergies and sensitivities, plus i give a damn about the environment and chemicals being near my hooha so im hoping these work out in my favor.

I also recently bought 2 things from kickstarter, Offensive Crayons and Dark Art Tarot deck. Lookin forward to those in the mail...

Ooo I do enjoy affordable art programs, lol. I use two currently but one of them is acting up on my laptop and will open once in a blue moon. Plus it has...a bit of a delay when I use my tablet when trying to draw? (Photoshop Elements 8) I need to do away with it. I also have Made with Mischief which I have been using for years now. I enjoy it, but it is a little limited. I may try out the free trial of what you got when I get more free time!

I have a love/hate relationship with nail polish. I like to keep it on my toe nails but...I don't care for it on my finger nails? It drives me insane when it starts to chip away and I can't help put to continue to scratch at it and make it worse once it starts to do that. But I'm also cheap and never want to spend more than a few bucks, so that may be my problem. I need to just invest in a better brand one time and see if it impresses me. I do use a top coat but it is also pretty cheap.

Oh no! I've had times I forgot to include the price after shipping and tax as well. I hope it doesn't end up being too big of an issue!

Corel is supposed to mimic traditional art supplies vs. being a true digital art program, but I love using it for sketching. I haven't tried out a lot of the brushes but I'd like to learn how to watercolor with it.

BTW, I love your name and HA, Mass Effect is awesome ^^

Yeah, I have a friend who is exactly the same way haha! Once is starts to chip she just keeps picking at it. Also I've found I get really good wear time with Sally Hansen (their Xtreme Wear line), and Sinful Colors -- both of which are super affordable. Whereas my expensive Chanel polish chips within a day, so more $$ doesn't always equal better wear time. And again, some colors/brands adhere to people's nails better than others, it can just come down to your nail chemistry.

I just bought some bath bombs off Etsy today. :) The pack I ordered was the brown one, which are supposed to smell like chocolate.

I also bought some washi tape samples plus some stickers for my planner. I got them off Etsy as well. It took so long to find some nice stickers that weren't PDFs or cost a ton to ship (I live in Canada). I'm excited to get all of my goodies, haha.

I will love you forever if you trade me:

Shoes and t-shirts. I'm quite picky when it comes to clothes (can't shop in real stores anymore; I don't like anything from them). Spent over 100 euros - before I knew that I was appareantly going on trip next weekend.

Guess I'll have icecube soup at the end of the month ¯(ツ)

a £7 plaid skirt + some fake doc martens (also obscenely cheap), which turned out to not only fit like a glove but look just like real docs! i'm pretty stoked. :)

i've been shopping for school since we get to wear our own clothes for the next two years - r.i.p. horribly tacky uniform. i literally won't miss you at all. currently on a way tighter budget than everyone else i'm friends with, though, which is fab. they're middle-class, our household's pretty penniless - such is life.

It's definitely difficult to shop when your body is larger or smaller than average. I'm small and thin, so finding things that fit nicely on a shorter frame can be challenging.

These are the plushies I bought for my sister: [li] Catbus plushie [li] Jigglypuff plushie

These are the gifts for my friend: [li] Totoro mini planter [li] Totoro crystal blind boxes

Sorry, I uploaded the photos I took but I can't get my Imgur links to work for posting photos on forums. The blind boxes are tiny and very cute! Everything else is about the size I expected.

Oooh now that I think about it, I do have a single bottle of Sally Hansen, lol. It's a pretty bold shade of pink. I'm not much of a pink person, but it's a color I like on my nails. Have you ever tried the Gel type of nail polish? I've never used it before so I'm kind of curious what makes it so special lol. I see Sally Hansen's Gel polish pretty often.

Thank you! Gotta love Mass Effect :) (Though I much prefer the trilogy over Andromeda). I love traditional art so it kind of sounds like my cup of tea honestly. I may look into it!

I tend to buy Funko if I have some sort of coupon or they're on sale, but wow I have so many. I should be embarrassed but really I'm not LOL.

That Totoro planer is freaking precious. It also reminds me how close I am to buying these corgi planters since I am a Corgi mom.

I have one of Sinful Colors' 'gel' line, and I found it wore really well on my nails. I change my polish really often, but I had this on for almost a week with no chips, and only some tip wear. I've heard good things about Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel top coat (I think that's what it's called), but I haven't tried it myself.

I bought nipples for baby bottles that for some reason they don't sell in Canada lol baby boy was ready to move to fast flo, but the fast flow nipples for the bottles we have aren't sold in Canada so I hunted them down on amazon! Grabbed some sippy cups too but have to return them because one actually came partially melted lol

The last interesting thing I bought was a new pair of jeans and a really nice pink blouse, which I haven't had chance to wear yet.

So I forgot that I pre-ordered this (last month? End of June?) So it technically wasn't the last thing I purchased, BUT it came in the mail today and... Behold my Destiny Adult Coloring Book. NO SHAME. I've had adult coloring books before, but the pictures look pretty dang awesome. It has been a long time since I've colored and I may or may not hang these up in the game room bahaha.

I bought a bunch of Korean beauty products from roserose shop. Shipping is by weight, so I kept adding and subtracting sheet masks until I got the weight of the package just right.
