You may do it any way which is comfortable for you, but you will need to match the companion leading each section to the needs of the voice for that section. For example, if the voice is "Flowers" and your team has a dragon, a cat, a butterfly, and a gnome, the obvious choice would be to let the butterfly and gnome play the lead part in the RP for that section. On the other hand, if you reached a voice for "Battle," the dragon would be better than the butterfly. It all depends on how you want to do it for the highest score.

like in a map. So if we don't wanna out right say, for example that we are now in the flowers section... if we just said ooc 1st location Flowers, 2nd location Beefcakes and so on would that work or are you needing to say in the RP that we are in those areas?

I think a list would be fine as long as the RP for that area matched. Didn't get the map legend, LOL, and was thinking of Singari legends, etc. (Like How got to be a Jalapeno instead of a Hot Tamale. You know...)

For the RP, is it ok to put each section of the maze under it's own spoiler? Or would that be considered too disjointed?

Also for the center, is there anything special there? It was only mentioned to be the center medallion to which "Will open to all if the four challenges are completed." Do we make it up what we encounter there or do we just do the journey to the center?

Well, things under spoiler make it a bit harder for me, since I have to pull out the entries for the judges, but I've been dealing with things like that for years.

As to the center, yes, there is something there, BUT it will be part of the plot. Just get to the center and look around.;
