I'm excited to welcome the students of Hogwarts and Alexandrian Academy who have decided to spend a term over here and welcome back students returning back to Ilvermorny or coming for their first time. This term is definitely going to be fun!

This week's theme is Arrival at Ilvermorny.

In case you need a friendly reminder: 💥 Hogwarts uniforms: Students wear black robes trimmed with the colors of their house (red and gold for Gryffindor, green and silver for Slytherin, blue and bronze/silver for Ravenclaw, and yellow and black for Hufflepuff) 💥 Ilvermorny uniforms: Students wear blue and cranberry robes fastened by a gold Gordian Knot. 💥 Alexandrian Academy uniforms: Students wear gold robes with sashes defining their ranking. Novice level students wear white sashes, Intermediate students wear peach sashes, Practiced students wear light green sashes, Skilled students wear light blue sashes, and Expert wear plum sashes.

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) State your name, school and house/ranking in your post. 2.) If you've already made a HA of your character in uniform, please refrain from using it for this challenge. Make a HA with a new outfit. 3.) Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 Points!

(Hope it's okay to not actually wear a robe, the color combination got the best of me. XD)

I hope these robes can count as my take on what they might wear in Africa/Egypt for school. Also for teh sash I hope this works as well. C:

Outfit Not Found Name: Ebele Nia Zuberi School: The Alexandrian Academy for the Arcane Arts Rank: First year, though practiced rank due to upbringing Unique Qualities or Fun Facts: She's been taught the use of wandless magic since she was a child. Her family is well known for being the inventors of a potion that slows the progression of age for witches and wizards. She dislikes most sweets and is unaccustomed to cultures outside of her own.

Name: Evalyn Ridgewell School: Ilvermorny House: Wampus Fun Fact: She loves collecting herbs to make new potions (or at least attempts too), but during her first year at Ilvermorny, she found a poisonous plant and spent almost 2 weeks in the infirmary, during which time she almost gave up on collecting herbs!

Private Outfit Name: Zala Tulasi School: Alexandrian Academy for the Arcane Arts Rank: Skilled - Zala is predicted to achieve Expert Rank by the end of the upcoming school year, making her one of the very few who attain Expert Ranking prior to leaving the Academy. Fun Fact: Zala volunteers at the Medical Wing in the Academy. So far she's treated over 100 injured or ill students. She's currently 17 years old and specializes in Herbology and Potions with a focus on magic medicine development.

Lenore Addlebourne Hogwarts - Slytherin House Fun fact: Lenore carries a white teacup with pink roses and gold trim everywhere she goes. It has an unbreakable charm on it and it is the only cup she ever drinks coffee from.

Nadine "Naiad" Nyx Ilvermorney - Wampus House fun fact: Naiad is one of the only students at Ilvermorney to practice Underwater Charms. She expressed enough of an interested that the course was actually added to the Ilvermorney curriculum in her second year. Private Outfit

Rain Stormwing Ilvermorny - Thunderbird house Fun fact: Rain's parents kept an aviary full of magical and non-magical birds, and she had always been fascinated by them. After reading "Why I Didn't Die When the Augurey Cried" by Gulliver Pokeby, she decided that she wanted to be a Magizoologist who specializes in birds (after she finishes school, of course). Her mother even let her get an augurey as a personal pet.

4A was created by the admins so there is no uniform reference besides their description. Was this what you found online? If so, it's fanon and not canon. There is no Egyptian school of magic in the Potterverse. My guess is that students on the African continent go to Uagadou. 😊

Uagadou is in Uganda, so that would be the African school that they would probably go to, you are correct. <3 My new Character is from Nigeria, so it's awesome for her to have 4A - options are good!

However, this brings me to another question. Do wizards use wands in 4A and not practice wandless techniques?

You're welcome! Nothing about wandless magic has been mentioned in the info about 4A, so I'd assume they use wands there. There's a spot for their wands in the 4A Student Rosters too. I think you can feel at ease making up whatever about your character and using the info we have, since 4A is just an interesting culture to bring to a Triwizard Tournament rather than a fleshed-out canonical school. You can't really go wrong, you know? c:

Yes, I hadn't seen anything about the wandless magic mentioned either. I totally agree with you, so I think I'll just use it in my Rp's as I have used it for my characters back story. hugs Thanks again!

Once he was trying to make his own shrinking potion at home, he got distracted and left everything sitting out. His younger sister accidentally drank it, although she didn't shrink completely her arms shrunk to the size of carrots.
