I can link you to his toyhou.se account? There's a bunch more drawings of him and more about his background. Basically he belongs to a supernatural class of creatures called Leeches. They are usually shapeless black masses of a tar like substance, invisible to human eyes. They seek out a human host, attach themselves to them and eat their negative emotions. Most Leeches are dangerous for humans though as they seek to bring out negative emotions in their host to consume them. They don't really have families either but Tais was "born" into one (aka his "dad" threw him up into a bucket- I know eewww.) and started to adapt to that life by taking up the form of a human child and mimicking his "sister". He can do most things human kids can do but shouldn't eat (he'll just teleport the food) or bath in hot water (will turn him liquid). He can also create a multitude of tiny tendrils he uses to grab things for his sister or cling to his dads and sometimes extra eyes or mouths will pop up all over his face (not restricted to it). Even though he is a creature of Eldritch horror he's the sweetest and kindest being one could imagine. Since he senses when somebody is upset/sad/angry he'll gladly consume such emotions to make people feel better. And there's not a single creature he wouldn't find wonderful and worthy of praise and love. He's basically a bundle of love in the tar like body of a Leech that has taken up human shape, trying his best to fit in.
