I have a very...odd brain i guess. I have never had a lucid dream i think..but i have had odd ones. Things that dont make much sense..sometimes i wonder if its because i never saw many horror movies in my life..ever frankly.

Some i hated where water ones, because when i woke up a thing i didnt think wasn't coming for a few days did. I envy some of my gender that can get it on the same day each time:P

I had a murder one in black and white a long time ago where people would fall from being shot..but..no bullet hole or blood. And i had a few murder dreams after that with no blood as well, but in color. I only got blood in them a few years ago.

I also had one where this kid fell over a open windowless high building ledge. And it was kind of odd..this guy and i were scared and thought he was dead so we tried to look..cant remember what we saw...but all the people eatting or drinking their stuff on tables and in chairs on this floor..they just kept doing their own thing..they never looked at the kid at all or was scared..they never noticed him just some feet away about to fall.

I also realized and this is nice. I dont think i can feel physical pain in them. Emotional sometimes yes..like scared or fearing. But when i was hit by a shovel or had a dog eating my neck and i saw the blood..i didnt feel anything physical. Of course i had the wanting to wake up yes..but it took some minutes before i did.

The ones i LOVE the most are my adventure ones! It will usually be a group of us doing some task and it can be anywhere! Different countries and places is really interesting :)

- Oh oh oh I just lucid dreamed the other night ! I don't do it very often, but this time, I did.I realized I was dreaming, and that meant I could do what I wanted, hooray ! Naturally, I few into the sky and flew to my boyfriend's place (Long distance) where we then flew (in a plane this tie, because, we could talk then) and went to Portland, because, well. My dream. Why not ? It was lighthearted and fun and I enjoyed it.

The only nightmares I have anymore are related to my phobia of balloons. I very rarely have bad dreams, it's been a long time since i had one thankfully. I've had a few awful ones involving bad things happening to my loved ones, but not very often.

The first dream I ever remember concretely dreaming was about Alvin and the Chipmunks, and an Evil Dave that only I could tell who was the good Dave and who was the Evil Dave. He was BAD. It was odd, sure, but it made sense to four year old me.

ahhh mine have no real reason to happen orz which kinda makes it even worse when i lived with my parents i used to be constantly stressed (they're great people i was just a horrible kid) so i'd take like 3-4 hours to fall asleep i started taking melatonin (i lived in italy where you don't need a prescription) but eventually developed a resistance to it and needed 2 pills per night and eventually that didn't work either so i gave up :v

tbf i still take a long time to fall asleep but it's not as bad now!! so i'm happy about that~

Ive seen a lot of death in my dreams but theres always blood. And man you must be lucky not to feel pain in your dreams, i always do. If i get shot, hit, electrocuted, harmed in any way, i can feel it, and its agonizing. Although i just try to usually tie that to a pain i must be feeling in waking life, sometimes its just isnt.

Could you elaborate this fear of balloons? My first dream that I can remember i must have been 5 or 6, but i remember being in a large square hole in the ground, and a skeleton was chasing me around the perimeter. I didnt like it of course haha.

This is also something i forgot to mention, but its such a huge dreaming fear of mine. I dont even like to mention or think about it because i feel like i will jinx it. But my most hated hated dreams, are when a trio of girls hold me down, and tickle me. Nonstop. I cant move, i cant stop them, they just keep tickling me, and i hate being tickled, its so painful and just ughh. I dont even like thinking about it.

I used to take Melatonin until i found out that if you take it regularly, your body will stop producing your natural melatonin because youve supplemented it via pill, so when you stop taking it your brain isnt producing as much as it used to thus making it very difficult to fall asleep. So if i need to sleep i drink certain herbal teas, and other natural remedies.

oh shit seriously?? welp thankfully i stopped taking it three years ago i tried this other thing called nytol or something? but it didn't do anything someone once told me chamomile tea does wonders apparently but i never liked warm teas so there's that :v

honestly what i found works for me is just to stick to a schedule and exercise daily and for as stupid as it sounds, being able to lock my door and know that it will stay locked makes me feel a million times more comfortable lmao ....... ofc when i lived with my parents i wasn't allowed to lock my door so that made me v uncomfortable and definitely made sleeping harder

Once i read about that it was sort of a 'Duh!' moment. If you supplement anything in your body, your body wont want to overproduce, so it will underproduce. And when you stop supplementing, itll still be underproducing. Oh yes, exercise definitely helps you fall asleep! I dont have a lock on my door. Im 21, and im not allowed to install a doorknob with a lock because this isnt technically my house. So dumb, but i am a light sleeper so i wake up to any noise really.

Everytime I go to sleep, it's always a lucid dream (has been since I was little), and there's times when I go back to places I've been to before in other dreams I've recorded in my dream journal/notes. I'd have to say my favorite dreams are ones that involve this guy that I guess you could say I'm in love with, cause it's like I get to be with him even though I have yet to meet him irl but I'd be too shy to.

But the dreams that involve him are pretty weird, that I even told my friend about and even she thinks it's weird. Okay so obviously I lucid dream, I know I'm dreaming but it's still pretty dang fun, anyway since I know that I'm dreaming, the guy (mentioned above, who I like) is also aware that it's a dream and just basically "rolls with it" which is fine but I feel like there's something more to his presence, like as if he knows about the dreams whenever he's involved which gives me a sense of paranoia, even though I would wanna tell him my dreams that involve him and ask about his, but I'd think he would think I'm a weirdo. D:

What's weird about the lucid dreams that involve him though, there are times when, say I'd be on my phone in the dream checking instagram and his pic would show up with the caption, once I wake up and check instagram and see the exact same pic and caption. (this happened too many times but somehow it's only about him???) And there was a time I had a lucid dream, again checking my phone and it was about him losing his luggage on his way to a convention, and when I woke up and checked instagram IT WAS ACTUALLY TRUE. It still happens but it doesn't phase me as much as it used to, but I really hope he doesn't actually know about my dreams (with him) cause they can be sexual at times, but then I'd want him to know, so I just feel stuck. xD
