in the past couple of months i've gotten into itabags which are basically.. the worlds most financially irresponsible hobby basically.
if you don't know, itabags (named from the japanese word for "painful") are bags or pouches of varying sizes, usually with a clear plastic cover or window, that you use to display merchandise for one or more characters, pairings, interests, etc. they can vary from dainty and minimalist to... probably some kind of safety hazard, but no matter the size they usually end up being pretty hard on your wallet lol, thus the name!

if anyone else has a bag i'd love to see it, and even if you dont have you ever thought about making one? if so, who?
hello I'm here to suffer.
I mean ... I ordered 2 bags: A black one for my Haikyuu!/Free!/Yuri on ice! needs A pastel blue for my love live! girls which are Nozomi, Eli and Yoshiko.
Meanwhile, I'm collecting pins and straps.
nice !! i've still got some buttons coming in for this bag and i'm already thinking about starting a new one ;0; i was thinking abt doing one for umi and pana bc theyre my best girls but i dont like a lot of the muse merch unfortunately :/ im not rly sure who else tho love live is like the only thing i'm into with a lot of easily accessible merch lol
I've been disappointed by merch as well q____q They are still coming up with Aqours things but I'm not updated much on Muse. I did buy 2 Sunny Day straps tho ... And they were recent.
ya like theres tons of aqours stuff which is totally cool but im pretty bummed muse stuff has mostly stopped coming out :/ like i get Why its just. a little aggravating ;;
SOBS ;____; All these outfits they could have made ... Honestly, I wasn't a fan of Aqours but it grew on me after awhile. I think my mind was too wraped up around Muse to move on and I kept comparing both teams.
i like aqours a lot! and honestly ended up liking them more than muse i think. i got into love live pretty late and have mostly been focused on the game/didnt watch the original anime so i didnt get super attached to the muse girls as a whole. but i got super p hyped for aqours and watched sunshine and everything so i'm significantly more invested lol.
I've decided to order a bigger bag to just put everything on it ... I'm blaming being a multi-fandom person. (and my room is small so I can't have like 20 bags lmao ) Btw who's your Aquours fav sub-unit ??
oo that sounds like a fun idea! im too like... focused on the organization and like symmetry w/ my bags to have too much stuff going on in one bag ;; i joined a custom bag giveaway on ig to hopefully get a more personalized/bigger bag for ruby and dia i'm very excited! i really love azalea!! both bc i love all the girls (dia and kanan being my 1st and 3rd best girls lol) and bc i like their whole aesthetic really and their songs are rly unique. guilty kiss's songs are fantastic but im less interested in their whole Look. i dont dislike cyaron but im not Super enthusiastic abt it.
I'd that Guilty Kiss is my first and Azalea right after (I love Yoshiko and Hanamaru) so ... It was blasphemy to dislike Azalea! :P I don't dislike Cyaron either but while I love You, it's not really my piece of cake.
i want to be more invested in cyaron bc i love ruby shes my second best girl their songs are just like.. okay and they have a cute theme but im not very enthusiastic about you or chika, but theyre both super cute.
I feel you. I prefer Honoka to Chika q___q I've been browsing Amiami and I seriously hate how they have so little single characters straps buyable. Most of them come in packs at $40 ++ CRIES.
hmm yeah same i think. that is a huge pain ;; theres a general itabag sales group as well as a love live specific sales group on facebook where you can find people doing box splits usually! ppl r always interested in that stuff cuz its super cost efficient. allunajapan sells individuals of love live charms! i got the majority of my stuff from her shop. i also got some from sonyaismGO on storenvy bc she sell leftovers from box splits (usually yuri on ice and love live) playmoya is also p good bc they also have the full boxes but they have like really crazy flash sales. i bought a set of 12 osomatsu charms for my friend for like.. $21 bc they were super duper on sale.
Sobs. That Storenvy shop has like 3 straps of Yoshiko that I need. BUT I IS A CANADIAN. Damnit. Plamoya is often overcharing for certain stuff. I mostly use Ebay because I know a very good japanese seller and she sends over food and love live cards haha.
aw dang ;; yeah playmoya can be. really hit or miss. thats neat! i'm like. super paranoid about using ebay. i used to think the possibility of bootlegs didnt bother me That much but.. this is an expensive hobby...
So, since I have like enough to make a Hanzo/McHanzo one, how do you even start one of these...? How do you get the keychains to stay put? And how do you get things to stay put?
I feel the struggle. I do have a few bootlegs but those are from the gashapon capsule machine that I used to have in my asian convenience store q___q I also have bootlegs that were given to me by friends because @ they don't know better but loved me still. THAT FEELING OF GUILT. Terrible. Terrible. I also collect figures so yeah, it's an expensive hobby.
Aloe ❤️ We usually use safety pins. You remove the string/phone jack/keyring and just ust the clasp to put the safety pin. You can also use double faced tape. Making one with double-faced tape Making one with safety pin

I lot of people will often use the basic window heart shaped itabag or anything that has a clear pvc/plastic sheet over it. As for myself, I use this basic japanese school bag on Ebay for $20 because I cannot have like 2-3 bags (lack of space). You can also pin your straps on a board like this.
