Extracurriculars: Outside of classes, she enjoys reading/studying in the library, going on walks around the lake, gardening in the greenhouses, sketching and painting, or just hanging about Ravenclaw Tower, chatting with her housemates. Effy's father is a British muggle-born who attended Hogwarts, sorted into Hufflepuff house. Growing up, her parents made sure she was exposed to both wizarding and muggle culture, especially the arts, leading to ballet lessons, art classes, and music lessons (piano and harp). When not attending school, Effy lives with her parents and her 9 year-old sister Elodie in her father's hometown in Berkshire; the family also spends a significant amount of time every summer and during holidays visiting her mother's parents in France. Goals: Short term: to improve her Occlumency abilities and take Advanced Arithmancy Studies. Long term: She is undecided, but she thinks she'd like to work with magical artifacts in some way.

As of right now, only Mary can approve special abilities and she hasn't had time to check to be up to date with the thread.

Mary and I are allowing people to transfer their characters on a case by case basis. :) It's just to have more formality with transfers. We're not restricting transfers too much, but we don't want everyone to nonchalantly transfer their character. Don't forget that you can only roleplay one character with a special ability per term. If you would like Niamh to have a special ability, then Paddy won't have a special ability when you roleplay her.

You don't need to sMail me your roster. All you need to do is sMail request, letting me know she left 4A or why she is transferring to Hogwarts and don't forget to register Niamh for a special ability here: Special Ability Registration (7th Term). I can't add Niamh to the roster until she is approved to have a special ability.

Is your character's last name Doyle or Montclair? You can choose to list extracurricular activities that are not shown in the forum group. We used to have club threads (i.e. Dueling Club, Book Club, CoMC Club, etc) where people could roleplay but now use workshops instead of clubs. Workshops are similar to clubs but more condense (they last two weeks and focus on a specific topic).
