We just got a new italian ice place near my apartment, so this is my refreshing summer treat :)

It's that time of year to start grilling out and nothing is better than a great big steak and some wonderful fresh vegetables thrown on the grill and cooked to perfection.

It is my favorite part about summer. Not to mention it always smells fantastic outside while it is grilling up

A summer treat that makes me drool is a light yellow cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries. Mmmmmmm.

My family makes cakes like it for fourth of July! But it's really good any time :P

You can't go wrong with any of these

The summer treat I look forward to the most is Turkey Drumsticks at fairs and the ren fest. They're always so much better than the ones you can get at the grocery store/meat markets and make yourself.

Pretty much any kind of milkshake, but my favorite is strawberry:

But realistically, this has been my go-to summer sweet this summer. It's only 65 or so calories each, and they taste AMAZING. Raspberry ice cream with a dark chocolate coating.

I missed the ping for the avatars yesterday! Mine won't be anything elaborate, though, my ideal summer vacation is pretty much just relaxing at home with my husband and pets. :P Especially lately while my cat has been sick. I'll go get that ready for tomorrow.

Because what's summer without ice cream? And what's softserve without SPRINKLES!

My favorite summer treat is of course ice cream! My absolute favorite was a peanut butter cake ice cream Edy's put out that had vanilla ice cream with peanut butter swirl and cake pieces. However, it was limited edition and is no longer available =/ I also loved their limited edition ice cream cookie sandwich but that is also no longer available.
