Not selling all of them, just did a big clearout from my wardrobe of stuff I don't ever wear and thus should not hold onto.

oh it was a nightmare. Had a really crappy evening and was in tears a good portion of it. Long story shortened... they told me I could put a female beta in my 10 gallon tank. I was prepared to put her in a betta bowl if it didn't work out. Well it didn't. So I raced to walmart, bought a goldfish bowl and food and set her up in the tank. What I didn't know, because they never told me, was that 1 gallon bowls require cleaning every 2-3 days. That means I'd be spending a fortune in water and de-chlorination chemicals. Not to mention that I'm not able to do that physically. So if that's not bad enough--the articles go on to inform that betas require heaters--which you can't really do in that size bowl AND they need a 5 gallon min size. So I'm stressing out about killing the new fish which for about 40minutes I was really excited to have in her own little tank and my extra pet.

I spent all night upset, looked all over the cellar for the filter for my 5gallon, couldn't find it. What do I do? Buy more supplies or give fish up and take a loss--or see if they'll give me the cost of the goldfish bowl. Walmart won't take the tank back or the food, so I'd lose $13, which isn't a lot of money to some but we are very low on funds. Since I can't find the filter and would still need a heater so looking at a bare minimum of $25 because also need gravel. an official disaster. If I take her back I'm still out of the pet and possibly the money we spent on the bowl. and a financial strain if I don't. Crying because I'm having to take the fish back and lose money. feeling guilty as hell too.

Called them at 9am and crying talked to the manager. I told him I only had $7, and maybe could get some from mum. So go in, he gave me $2 off the bag of gravel and 50% off the heater. We'll still need a filter but its not imperative. Buy the time I got her set up it was 11.20 am. I fell asleep for one grand hour and have been awake and still stressed all day.

I'll try to take some once the bubbles from the new water go away. there's nothing really in it at the moment though lol so plants at some point too

oooh, that sounds great! we went to the LA Universal to see the Harry Potter world there. I know the one in Florida is bigger/has more. We didn't go on the rides because it was too busy, but we got a deal so we have 2 more trips there, and we're gonna try to go on a weekday, early, so we can do the rides.
