<p>Does this mean we&;ll be different characters than usual? I just started so I guess my character could transfer to Slytherin in Hogwarts in the following term... I am confused!!!

I just had a quick question. Since my Hogwarts character is a transfer from Ilvermorny, if I were to be placed in Ilvermorny, would I still be able to use her? Or would I have to create an all new character? I am just asking because it might affect my preference, as I am sort of new to RP and I am not sure how well developed any new character I might create would be. xD Thank you!

We highly recommend starting a new character for the Tri-Wizard Tournament! Technically you do not have to start a new character at all, but it might be a little difficult to participate in the activities that involve roleplay. If you are assigned to Ilvermorny or 4A, you will not be able to use your Hogwarts character for that school to earn points with. However, for roleplay threads that are not for points, I have no problem with you using your Hogwarts character.
When we return from the tournament, you can pick back up your Hogwarts characters again.
We are thinking of offering the option for members to "transfer" their character to the school they are assigned, however they will not be able to transfer back once the tournament is over. This is not set in stone yet, but if enough people are interested, we might use it.
