Hi everyone! Everyone that has posted thus far has been assigned to their school. Please check this post for your assignment! Invitations to the school forum groups will be going out tonight and tomorrow night.

Anyone that posts after this, you will be assigned a school as soon as we are able (most likely over the weekend)!

Before you all go off and start creating your characters, I wanted everyone to know that special abilities have been suspended for the tournament. This means no one will be able to have a special ability during the event. So if you have been assigned to Hogwarts and your character normally has a special ability, you will not be able to use it to your advantage for the tournament. We would like everyone to be on an even playing field, especially our champions. If it will be an issue for you to play your character without using their special ability, we highly suggest creating a new character without an ability. Anyone caught using a special ability during roleplay activities that yield points will be considered cheating and will no longer be able to earn points from roleplay activities. Once the tournament is over and we return to Hogwarts, you will be able to use special abilities again.

: I was going to ask about this (or a variation of it) as well. I'm new and this is my first event and I don't have a character yet. Since I was sorted Hogwarts for the TWT, can I make a character that as a Hogwarts student in this event, I can use later as my permanent student for next term or whatever's next? Thank you! :)
