Yep it is. They don't come to Virginia very often. I think this is only their 3rd time. They had a kicking off summer ticket sale last month and they were on there. So I was like yay tickets were only $20 each. Usually they are between $60-$80 sometimes more each. So heck yea I didn't wanna pass up my chance to finally see them

My boyfriend's grandmother passed away very suddenly on Sunday evening. His grandparents have brought him up since he was 10 so it is like loosing his mother. His grandfather is understandably taking it badly after being together for over 50 years.

I've never lost anyone close to me before. I feel at a lost at what to do. I'm traveling up to see them every day as my boyfriend has moved back there for now. Such a sad, terrible time.

I'm so sorry . It's a very sad, lonely time to go through for your boyfriend and Grandfather and family. All you can do is be there for them and let them talk to you and you listen. They will need to tell you how sad they feel but also you can ask them about the best times they can remember they had together. It's going to be very hard. I pray the words will come to you to be understanding and comforting. My heart goes out to you and the family.

Thank you. As of yet my boyfriend has not allowed himself to grieve. He is coming back home today so I hope that when he is away from his family,he will finally allow himself to start to grieve.

, don't push him, be sure he knows he can talk to you anytime, and then just be with him like normal times. He eventually will relax enough and then some word or action will remind him of his loss and he will grieve. At that time all you can do is hold him. Don't tell him you know how he feels, when we are in that state, we feel like no one in the world can hurt as much as we do. Just be there.

Busy bee here.. with work.. tired..

Hi Everyone, Just thought I'd update you on what's been going on. My sister couldn't breathe on Thursday evening and I had to call 911. So once again she had missed an appointment to get the radiation going.... The cancer had grown over the stent that was just put in like 3 weeks ago spreading into both bronchial airways. We were told she has one of the worst kinds of cancer (Squamous Cell Lung Cancer) because it multiplies very quickly. She also had pneumonia....So they did emergency surgery vaccumed out the pneumonia and was able to remove some of the cancer between her airways then placed 2 stents in her left lung and 1 in her right lung. The amount she was breathing before these stents were placed in was the equivalent to the size of a straw. She had to have a breathing tube put down her throat for the operation, and, so that they could make sure she could breathe on her own after the operation. It was SO very hard to see her like that... Thankfully she was sedated! I know she knew we were there because she squeezed our hands. The night before last, the tube was taken out and she is breathing on her own now.. Thank God! She looked so good yesterday, talking, smiling and BREATHING!!! I'm waiting for her to call me anytime to come and get her if they discharge her today. Monday she goes to get the body cast made for radiation and the Keytruda was approved so I'm SO thankful and happy things are finally going in the right direction. I pray this aggressive therapy will shrink the tumor and they can keep her well. Seeing my sister having to go through this has been the hardest thing I've EVER gone through in my whole life. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers it means so much to me. Miracles are still happening everyday and I know they will continue to happen for her. ❤ (((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) ❤

I so agree with you, as bad and hard as it is for Shari, you and your family God is there with you and I pray He will continue to care for each of you, give you everything you need and keep showing you He's in charge and doing all He can to bring a miraculous outcome for Shari. I pray He will stomp on that cancer and eradicate it completely. I pray He will work through the doctors and they will be amazed and know who was the great physician working with them. ❤
