I think it might have! Feeling a little better ;) How's your day going?
It doesn't usually bother me to have the same HA for such a long time, but I'm getting the itch to change ;)
Luckily I haven't bought any cws in a bit. Trying to refrain so I can buy crap at black friday ug DX They make me want to change my ha more

Hehe It happens ;) Did you fill a pet slot yet?
No lol! I am waiting it out. I am no good at pet slot names DX I have the potions just no names DX
I'm shaking so hard I can barely use my PC's mouse. So this past spring a bird got in under our eaves, right above the bedroom window, and made a nest. I kept seeing the poop all around near that window and hearing multiple birds. Then when I started going in the backyard (when it finally warmed up) I saw the bird going in and out of the hole. Often with stuff in it's beak. The bird seemed mad that humans were outside and it would squawk at me every time I was in the backyard. It was really loud and obnoxious and I researched it until I determined it was a European Starling. They are in the mynah bird family and I swear to god I have even heard the damn bird cock-a-doodle-doo once. I wasn't positive but I heard it do it again today!
So anyway I have begged my husband to wait to do anything until the baby were grown up and left the nest. Today my husband decided he was going to block off the hole and while I wasn't happy about it I said ok. It's really hot here (and supposed to reach 92 on Sunday) and we have to have the windows open...he had to go in through our attic, as from the outside it was higher than his ladder would reach. I stuck my head in the attic and was like, "are there babies, are there babies" He said there weren't any birds in it and began to pull the nest out and hand it to me. I'm very curious and wanted to see the nest and when I got to the compost pile and dropped it I saw 2 baby bird skeletons. :-(
I decided to sit in the backyard to watch the birds and see how they were reacting to what he was doing, and they were mad. Squawking and flying near the hole and sitting on our fence cawing and squawking really loud. There was about 4 or 5 and I guessed maybe parents and grown babies. I'm just laying there, in a swimsuit, listening to a podcast and hubby suddenly opens the sliding glass door and throws a bird at me. LOL! I guess he was freaked out too and probably wasn't throwing it at me but just trying to get it out of his hands and outside. Then our 2 dogs decide to try and get it and it's coming at me and I'm screaming and it flew over me and got under some brush until I could get the dogs in the house.
Hubby said it came in the hole while he was up in the attic and before he got the screen in place. I'm still freaking out but feel better typing it all out! LOL! :-P
Names I find easy! I mash the keypad then come up with something cool out of it ;)
What an afternoon!! :o
LOL! Baby birds, Hale's grandma has some birds like that too. She is mad cause they keep pooping on her porch XDD You poor thing. We had a baby blue jay once :O It would fly all over the place
Did I mention I love your new ha :O I have that dress and was thinking about bringing it out again :P I wonder how colorful is I haven't seen her in forever D: I guess I need to try that out lol! I want to make the one that looks like a tamagatic
And I'm still shaking! :-P Your HA is beautiful!!
I love birds so much but that poop is too much! They have covered the side of our house in poop! Guess it will soon be a neighbors house! LOL! :-D
Lol! Poor skeletons DX Wonder why two of them died....
yeah I wondered the same thing. The 2 big ones have been siting right outside the window, on the garden meshing, and looking around and cawing.
Did you see the cake I baked for you???? π And did you have a fun birthday?
I feel so tired rn
what a story about the starlings! probably the skeletons were of baby birds that had some birth defect when they hatched, and were unable to thrive and grow, it happens sometimes :(
On my way home from work today I saw four squirrels playing some kind of game. When I was walking from the office building to the parking lot past some trees and a grassy area with a big rock in it, one of them was on the rock and leaped from the rock to the tree! Then two more ran down from the tree and jumped up on the rock. It looked like they were enjoying themselves. Another squirrel was watching from another tree and running up and down, its tail wiggling frantically. I'm not sure if it was having fun or if it was mad it wasn't in the game!
I'm tired too, just finished a tough week, and was sick on Tuesday, my stamina hasn't completely recovered.
I like your HA today, very sunny :)
happy birthday!
I might open up an adoptables shop for Gorillaz fans...
It was my excitement for the month for sure! I was sort of surprised that the 2 of them had died. I didn't know that the mortality rate was that high for baby birds.
My kitchen window is right below where the nest was and 2 big adult birds keep sitting on the fence or on the netting covering our garden and screaming. I'm trying to get a pic when they're both there cause it looks like they're looking right at me! LOL!! I feel bad for them but as long as the babies were big enough to survive being homeless...gah I'm such a softy!
Oh the squirrels putting on a show! :-) They're so cute and I would have loved to see them playing! And even though we're in the burbs I often see bunnies and raccoons too. :-)
Any fun plans for the week-end? We're going to have 90+ weather through Monday and our air conditioning needs to be replaced. UGH!
Why are you so tired?
I dunno I'm just not in a good mood...
Oh my it's so pretty haha!! :o I wish it's IRL haha thanks soo much :o You could've put Di^2 lool jkk :) Thx ^^
