i think guinea pig would be fine, i know rabbit is a good one.

raw manure is the most risky when it's fresh and when the plants are going to be eaten raw, and the main issue is food poisoning type of bacteria (salmonella, e coli).

That link says never to use human or carnivore wastes - which is a good idea for a home user. Manure from vegetarian/herbivore animals is safest and best to use (needs least processing to eliminate dangerous bacteria and elements).

Rabbits!! 🐰 I was infatuated with our neighbor's bunnies when I was about 4 years old and would love to get one!

I might have just gotten some more work. While I was trying to type a reply to you my 89 year old neighbor called and her older sister wants me to come over several days a week and help her with ironing and what else I don't know yet. I already clean one day a week for them and they pay well! :-)

HOMG, yes it was a blast, the things you get to do when you live on a farm. i remember climbing to the very top of the haystack and jumping down into the pile of hay below with cousins :3 hell i used to walk around the farm barefoot, can't do that here though due to all the landlords crap, i have found plastic bottles.. even glass under the ground :O oh, and the thistles.. they have soooo many thistles, ouch. i have been pulling some here and there.. hoping to make sure the ones in the immediate area don't flower and seed. we used to have thistles on the farm but after we had a cow calve in them we decided to get them gone. we named the calf thistle.. she was sweet little heifer :D

Guinea pigs and rabbits are both really cute pets, I wondered if they got along and found some really interesting material about the topic. I've never kept either, but I had a neighbor once who had all sorts of animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs along with dogs, cats, and chickens.

(I just have cats... this is enough for me, but I really enjoy when I get to meet other animals)

:O whatever you do, you never house guinea pigs and rabbits together. they can play together under supervision but housing them together can be deadly to the piggie. a rabbit can kill them before the guinea pig will know what's happening. if you need to know anything about guinea pigs you can always ask. i used to breed them and gerbils for the pet store i worked for and now i just have rescues as the place i live now just likes to throw 'em away :O i have owned rabbits too but not as knowledgeable. my other one is cows :/
