So sad when family customs are allowed to die out! :-( For me, when my grandpa passed away, Christmas was never the same. A few years after his death all of the adults gave up and quit even trying to get together.

Hello, Diana's daughter. ^.^ It looks like a fun picnic!! Picnics are usually one of my favorite things to do in the summer. Do you have a therapy or disability animal for her, or is that something she would not enjoy? I ask because I have one and they are the best, my boy lights up my world. Without him I would feel like I have almost nothing.

Oh, that will be awesome when it does happen! Also, I apologize if you have mentioned this to me before - migraines make me forget almost everything! lol I have many journals where I write down everything, otherwise I don't recognize that time passes and things happen for the most part. For example, sometime last week I was about to go to an appt. and I told everyone it was with a doctor that I stopped seeing 1.5 years ago. And while being driven there I forgot that I was not seeing him, so it made me really sad. And after the appt. I still remembered again that I had not seen him and got sad again. lol :P It is a blessing and a curse because the last 5 years of my life almost seem as if they did not happen most of the time. Sad though because I can't remember all the good things I want to, you know? shrug

She did seem to enjoy it! Or maybe it was the yummy food from Trader Joes. I kind of splurged a little and bought us both a premade meal. :-) We have 2 dogs and a cat. She considers the big rottie, (who she named Baby) her brother. The yorkie (rescued name was Scout) is her dog and when she's home he is always by her. We did get the rottie with the notion of him being her disability dog, but he's a handful. I'm his human and the only person he minds 100%. Lol! Truthfully my daughter is like the most grounded person I've ever known and she's always happy, even though she looks grumpy in pic. I'm so sorry you have migraines! I can't even imagine how horrible that is. I've had maybe 10 in my whole life, but I can still remember a few of them even years later.

Moltres should be much higher :P the cp range is very specific though for what each can be since they all come from raids at level 20. I did five zapdos raids today and caught four of them

ok. since the rain is clearing out, the pollen is low, an it's cooler today, i'm going to go and transplant a plant tht i've been growing FROM SEED!! (nope. not rainbow. wish i COULD grow "rainbow" of course. i'd probably be smoking it before it was ready) :D

any way. my aunt sent me some Coleus seeds, and i've actually got a BUNCH of plants growing. got to transplant :D (go witchy! didn't kill it!) :D

I've worked with disabled children before and know that even though they don't always look it on the outside, they are usually enjoying themselves on the inside. it has to do with the interaction and knowing the child on an individual basis, that was how I could tell at least. I can't walk up to some random child and tell their emotive immediately, only after I've gotten to know them and how they interact with the world. Does that make sense? Anyways, I don't do that work anymore, but it was fulfilling. I am glad that she has companion animals, they really do make the best siblings and or friends. They can be quite a comfort to have and they always love you without judgment. lol

I thought the notebook thing was pretty clever. I also write things down on my wall calendar too, it really helps.

Yes, multi-tasking and just mindlessly doing activities, like on auto-pilot, can be the cause of many a forgotten thing. lol :P Yes, my problem is (hopefully) reversible, assuming we ever get the migraines under control. my neurologist and I remain slightly optimistic. Though it is a life long condition and not something curable. shrug For your forgetfulness problems, have you tried writing things down?

Probably need too but I still have a better memory than my husband so there is that XDD
