Omg! That's so weird about my instagram name! I thought how did I get your name in there and when I went to edit it, it's not really your name but my correct instgram name. My guess is because I put the @ symbol it changed it to your name. Anyway, my UN on insta is mylife_mypups I left off the "at" symbol so you can see it now! :-P

That's so cool that you want to try to make subeta CW's! I have a tablet for my PC and my hubby is a great artist so I thought about trying to get him to draw some things...but it's so involved. I know there are some youtube videos from an artist on subeta showing how she creates a CW. And I definitely think hair is the most popular item. For me I never can find shoes I like, so maybe shoes too. (Although CW's are too expensive for my budget. lol)

Your job sounds so interesting and fun! I wish the internet had been around when I was younger! :-)

aha, I can see it now! What cute dogs, do they drink coffee - that picture! I like the picture of your rottweiler with the cat too :)

Sometimes I wish the internet was around when I was younger but other times I'm glad I got a chance to develop my love of reading books before I got distracted by websites ;)

It's whipped cream in the Starbucks cups. lol I just got lucky on that pic because they loathe posing for me. The cat loves the rottweiler and the rottweiler is usually annoyed by the cat. LOL!

You know, I was just thinking about how I don't read much anymore. I was always that person with her nose in a book. I don't know why but I can't seem to stay interested these days. Part of it, I think, is probably due to always having my cell in my hands now. :-P

Oh you might not want to get me started on what kind of books I like because I like all the kinds ;) Not really, mostly I like fiction! But, all kinds of fiction. Mostly I read science fiction, mystery, fantasy, historical novels and contemporary fiction, with some horror and experimental fiction mixed in. Most recently I just finished "Europe in Winter" which is kind of a near future science fiction/spy thriller/slice of life/experimental-weird combination (third in a series). (The previous books in the series I had read a year or two ago, Europe in Autumn and Europe at Midnight). I read a book every few days and lately I find myself very absent minded and forgetting what I've actually read recently (unless I check on my Kindle). And I'm very picky about writing styles and characters, so, there are quite a few popular writers whose books I can't stand ... sad but true.

As usual, adorable HA! Maybe my fav of yours...what am I saying, all of yours are great! :-P The dogs love it and then I can eat dinner! ;-) lol

I am super picky on writing styles too. Who is your favorite author? Maybe I can find something that will interest me enough to finish a book.

but you can still read on your cell. I have a kindle reader on mine and on my tablet too, and although I do read a lot of fanfic on there I also have quite a few books on the go. I love that I can watch movies and read books when I'm travelling around. Must try to stop playing so many games!
I think I already have your instagram and saw your doggies with their Starbucks the other day :-)

I am good at all the web stuff (well, most of the web stuff, there is some I am not so great at). But I'm old fashioned and sometimes I don't like new stuff if it looks like people are only doing it to be trendy, rather than it really being better than the older stuff. And a surge to whatever's new and trendy is SO pervasive in web stuff that I sometimes gag at the thought. I like time travel stories too, I guess my favorite is Kindred by Octavia Butler with a special childhood fondness for Danger Quotient by Annabel and Edgar Johnson. My favorite recent read of a time travel novel was the First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North. But there are so many good ones it's hard to be sure and if I thought about it more I might have to add more to the favorites list. When I was young I liked Anne McCaffrey's Dragon books and in high school/college age I liked all her books, but I don't really read them anymore, there's something about the style that no longer appeals to me. Good memories of them though.
As for chick-lit I think the only author I like who falls in that category is Jennifer Weiner. Well, there might be more but not that I like enough to actually remember their names so not that much I guess :) Possibly Rumer Godden or Shelby Hearon (who are two of my favorite authors) would count but I am not sure. Their writing is a little more serious I guess? What about Sarah Bird, I'm not sure on her. It's contemporary ficton about women, does that make it chick-lit? Anyway I dunno, it is a genre I don't have a good sense of what falls into it and what doesn't. So that's some of my favorite writers but there are way too many. I probably have about five or six favorite writers per category and there are probably twenty or thirty categories so... I already gave my favorites on time travel and might-be-chick-lit, let's see what else. Favorite authors of books about dragons: Naomi Novik, Ursula Le Guin, runners up Lawrence Watt-Evans and Patricia Briggs and sure, Anne McCaffrey, also Marie Brennan and Jo Walton (all of these have written good books that are NOT about dragons too, of course). I dunno, I'm bad at thinking up my favorites. I can give you a good detailed pro or con on any given author and tell you what I'm reading now or was reading recently that was really good though? I just started reading at lunch today a book called A Personal Devil by Roberta Gellis (she's one of my favorite historical fiction authors - she's written romances, mysteries, and fantasy too). This is the 2nd book in a series about a woman who runs a house of prostitution in medieval England and also solves mysteries. It's kind of silly and serious at the same time - the author is a historian and really has a good sense of the times, and she also likes to create characters that are maybe more sympathetic to a modern person than is strictly realistic for the time period. So it turns out that way. I find her style charming and fun to read. I could go on and on but I won't - ask me about another author or type of book though and I'll give you a few paragraphs on it ;)

PS Ulalena sorry but pretty as it might be, it makes no sense for "enamored" to be a color. You might as well make "frightened" a color. o.O

I haven't a doubt you'll get them!! :-)

Yes, reading on my phone seems to be easier these days. I get an email every day from Book Bub telling me about Kindle books on sale and then I get the free ones that look good. LOL! right now I'm reading Saigon: An Epic Novel of Vietnam. It's ok but doesn't keep me interested for long....or I fall asleep. :-P

Wow! Thank you for that list! I'm going to Google all of those authors and see if my local library has any of them. I think Ulalena mentioned Diana Gabaldon and I have read 2.5 of them. until they started getting boring to me. I think the last good book I read was Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs. (Read it a year ago) It was funny and different and I read it in 2 days. One of my favorite authors is Ken Follet and have read many of his books. Years ago I tried to read every Pulitzer Prize winning novel and fell in love with Edith Wharton. I may be getting some inspiration here!! :-)

I'm ok! Could be better mentally but I'm healthy and trying to get more active now that our long assed cold and wet winter is almost over! :-P (Seattle suburb) I can't wait to see your commissions! Are you staying busy? Haha! I know you are!!

I have a love for those shopaholic books too!

That daily book bub email drops in my inbox as well. I'll splash out on the 99p ones as well as the free ones sometimes :D I don't buy anything as intellectual as your book on Saigon sounds. Sci fi, fantasy, horror and chick lit for me :D

LOL! I have splashed out 99 cents a time or two as well! Saigon not intellectual at all. Just your typical epic novel! :-P

Anyone watching Fargo? The TV series?

I buy bunches of books at a time from Humble Bundle sometimes (they have a great bundle now that I just bought Humble Bundle Nebula Pack lots of good science fiction here and some fantasy and other stuff mixed in). Mostly though I just buy off the Kindle. Or I download free books from Gutenberg (I really love reading some of the 19th century writers, especially Austen and Trollope, but plenty of lesser known ones too) and other public domain books.

I want to offer a commission or two myself - but - I feel as though I can't till I prove I am capable of it, you know what I mean? And I can't figure out what to do for that. Yet. Eventually I will figure it out.

I just put The Way We Live Now by Trollope on hold! Never read any of his books but his name mentioned in the same sentence as Austen's I'm thinking I'll like it!! :-D And I still have your other favs to go through!! I might find a good book to read yet! :-)

I always thought I would be a librarian! Until I was about 13 and discovered boys... :-P

Just because something's one of my favorites doesn't mean you'll like it (but it doesn't mean you won't! hahah) I am pretty good at recommending books a person would like though if they tell me what they liked before, so, give me a list of some books you've really liked - as broad a variety as you can manage - and I'll see what I can think of to recommend :)

But a good well written book generally has a broad appeal!! :-D And to me books and music too, if done right, I'll probably like it!

I keep forgetting to ask you what your status is referring to "Ready for the day" It makes me wonder if you're getting married soon.

No, I've been married already for a long time :) It's just me being ready for today... whichever day today is at the time ;)

Half the time if it has broad appeal I don't like it though (does this make me a hipster? only about books I guess) ;)
