OMGoodness!! Thank you all so much for the gifts and birthday wishes. I love this group so much. Sorry I have been MIA but life has a way of keeping me busy lately. I will try to pop in more often. Happy birthday!! Hope it is a great day for you! Happy belated birthday!! I knew it was on Cinco de Mayo & had all intentions of being on time but again my memory was a HUGE FAIL!! I apologize. My New Year resolution has been an epic fail as well, trying to be more social on here. I think until I get my eyes fixed, I'll continue to lurk unf unfortunately. :(

I hope everyone is enjoying life and it is going well. Also, hopefully the weather is comfortable for all. I am NOT looking forward to Summer and it's 99 degree with a feels like of 112!!!

Today my mom and I are going to go see the Clydesdale horses at the coast guard exchange. I'm not really sure why they will be there but pretty cool anyways.

It was very cool seeing them. I've only seen them that close once before years ago when I was younger. We were a little late getting there but it worked out because we got to see them go around the parking lot once and then they put them back into the trucks which took at least 25 minutes. Also got lots of pictures.

I'm glad you enjoyed watching them & got lots of pictures :D We got to pet them during the tour,after our tour we went back out to the coral where they had 2 horses in there own coral. the one I wanted pictures with my husband standing by him, petting him,the horse was trying to take my husbands coat the whole time while I was trying to take the pictures.It was so funny :D we also got to see them putting Horse shoes on the Horses that day.Those are some BIG feet =)

That sounds like fun also. We couldn't pet them. I did take a picture of my mom next to one of them. They were the Budweiser Clydesdale horses so that's probably why we can't pet them.

Maybe they don't let you pet them when they are on tour. We took a vacation from Ohio to the Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, MO.-"Home of the Budweiser Clydesdales" =) This is one of the places they keep the Budweiser Clydesdales .We did the Guided Walking Tours.They brought a Clyesdale Horse out so we could pet it while we were in the big barn. I enjoyed this so much I would do it again :D They showed where they breed them,this is The largest breeding facility. The three Clydesdale teams that tour the world are based near the company's brewing facilities in St. Louis(where we went), "Fort Collins, Colorado," and "Merrimack, New Hampshire" we even got the best, coldest, beer on tap, I have ever tasted.I'm not a beer fan.I really don't drink Alcohol. They didn't have the dog there he was out on tour.I would have loved to see him also.We owned a Dalmatian dog so It was alright he wasn't there.
