I'm well, I hurt my back moving things in my house before Irma and I'm still not fully recovered but other than that- I'm really well and I'm grateful.

To keep updating, I'm still without power. They first told us in two weeks or more but now another storm/hurricane is coming our way and will cross the island. It's expected to come on Tuesday at cat3, there are many refugees from the Virgin Islands right now living and arriving every day plus all those that lost everything here and our islands Vieques and Culebras. We are doing all we can to help and won't stop helping because that's how we are.

Now another threat comes but I have faith we can change our fate with our prayers. Please keep Puerto Rico in your prayers dear friends. We need it, thank you. Xx

It's awful that you have to deal with another hurricane so soon after Irma. What's going on? How are you? My best friend was in Vieques over the summer and she said it was beautiful. I hope you'll be able to recover quickly after this new storm and that it won't do a lot of damage.

We don't know how bad it will affect us, we haven't had a hurricane cat5 directly hit us in decades so no one knows if we live to tell it. I have faith we will. We are all locked in our homes since it comes in the morning

I'm hearing terrible things about Maria's impact on Puerto Rico. Hoping you and your loved ones are safe despite the storm and all of the hardships of its aftermath. I'm not sure if you'll even see this post for a long time.
