this holiday is officially delayed this year because of site problems during the previous holiday.
They may make this permanent, because it was a good idea for many reasons. But if they haven't done that there's no reason to change the Subetapedia just yet.
Vesnali is still coming, but it will be sometime in early to mid May this year like mentioned.

It's officially delayed until the middle of next month because of how many problems sprung up during Masquerade.
We moved Vesnali this year to be in May due to a number of reasons, the primary one being the issues we had during Masquerade. We are looking into possibly moving it for good, because having a bigger break between the two holidays will be so much nicer on our users and on our art team! If we end up making the move a concrete thing and not just this year sort of thing, we'll update the Subetapedia to reflect that + make a news post. <3
I hear what you are saying but all I can say is it's a good thing you are all working for a company that isn't profit-driven because if you were you'd be unemployed and getting to learn personally what the phrase "starving artist" means......

People can choose to support the site if they want to or not, nobody is forced to buy anything here. And just because you purchase CSC or gold account access doesn't give you the right to say what kind of content should be released and when. You get the item or account service you paid for and that's it.
It's not even like the event is cancelled altogether, it is still happening just at a slightly different time of the year. And there has been a lot of other stuff going on behind the scenes as well, I know in particular has been making a lot of small improvements to different areas of the site and I'm sure other staff members have been working hard as well.
You have a right to give feedback if you're unhappy with certain aspects of the site, but it's not fair to be disrespectful to the staff members like that. Without them there wouldn't even be a Subeta.

I'm pretty sure that kind of comment goes against the Forum's Code of Conduct.
If you want your suggestions, ideas, feedback, and kitten pictures to be taken seriously, give appropriate attention to the suggestions, ideas, feedback, and kitten pictures posted by others. You don’t have to like their kitten, but you do have to be fair and polite.
If you want staff to understand your point of view, try understanding that it was said a month ago that Vesnali would be delayed in the news. It's not a surprise to anyone who comes on the site regularly.
Oh man, you might have a point, I can't think of a single time when a movie, game or comic has been given a later release date. Subeta staff should really consider taking a few pointers from companies like 20th Century Fox or Square Enix!!
tbh I'm happy for the breather between holidays and it's not unprofessional for staff push it back so that they can offer us a better experience instead of rushing their work.
I don't know about you, but I'd rather the staff have this break by pushing the holiday back so they can ensure we'll have a better event when it does come around... than to have them roll out a site-wide event plagued with errors, no new items/artwork, and to have a userbase screeching at them about nothing working.
But you know, that's just me.
