I miss them - hope they can come back without breaking the site. :c

I'd prefer it to stay off entirely, I never really had a need for them anyway. I think it should be a thing you can turn off tbh, though I know some people rely on it.

Not happy that they won't be coming back for who knows how long. I liked the event bubbles that pop up. I hope they come back SOON -_-

To be honest, I disabled the live events via custom CSS. They just annoy me. XD

Considering the rest of the site and how often our programmers have posted the past year I'm gonna go with never gonna get fixed.

Sick of the artists pulling this sites weight with no updates from Keith.

It would be nice if it could be disabled - it probably wouldn't break the site so much if the people who don't like it don't have to use it.

I think I like having them off better myself. I'm not social enough to depend on it.

Considering I regularly lurk on Subeta whenever I'm on my PC, I didn't have much of a use for the live events? :X They were annoying, if anything. I often have pinned Subeta tabs and I had to refresh them to get rid of the red number after I've already seen the event. I'm pretty sure either Adblock or NoScript axed them anyway, so...

When/if they're brought back, it would be good if we had an on/off option for them in the site preferences.

Like... maybe remove the Aggregated News Feed option sometime (what does it even do???) and the Show Full Avatars In Forums option (broken afaik) and add a few more options that'd be of some use to users.

I'm not super upset that they are turned off, but I did enjoy them. That being said I can totally live/navigate/enjoy the site without them. <3

I miss them very much. I feel I have to keep refreshing like a maniac to see if someone posted. Its really frustrating to me.
