A Father Brown mystery. This series seems to be more modern (post WWII) and more modern (like made in 2012). Some of the quirks of Brown and his confederates are much less sympathetic in this light.
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Family Edition. It's so addicting. 😁

riverdale .... i finished it last night and ive been dying ever since
A BBC detective mystery show set in the Shetland islands, called Shetland. Very claustrophobic, everything happening in small areas with low populations, so each puzzle is like a locked room mystery.
It sounds like you enjoy similar things to me, just last night I watched the very first Morse detective program, Ive watched Sherlock, Endeavor, Ive got Father Brown in my planner and watch that too like you, as you say its a bit unsympathetic, but its set just after the war, when there was still a lot of suspicion/bad feeling about any foreigners I suspect.
Ive started watching The Handmaids Tale, and also Fargo with Ewan McGregor is in my planner. Im always behind with programs and only finished Breaking Bad last month lol.
We always watch our uk soaps: Emmerdale & Coronation Street as well.
I'm currently rewatching Suits from the first season!
I've been watching Ghost Asylum and it's hilarious
Supergirl and the Flash (a musical crossover, probably with Mxyplk)
ha ha ha! You only know the shows I'm willing to admit in public.
Arrested Development. I got hurt yesterday and was on bed rest, a show I've watched to many times to count that still makes me laugh was a nice way to spend the day.
