I haven't seen you around. As for winning 2048, just keep your largest number in a single corner and snake the numbers down from there. So how I tend to do it, it'll look something like this once you get to the higher numbers: 1024 - 512 - 256 2 - 8 - 16 nil - 2 - 4 You won't win every time, but it gives you a better chance at getting to the 2048 and I've even a 4096 on rare occasions.
