I went to Rosemary around 12:30ish because it was a new day. Yesterday I found my bird within a few pages, no problem. But today? It's been 3 hours and there's no sign of it.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it normal for some of the birds to take a while to show up? I suppose it is quite late; maybe I have to wait till morning?

I'm not sure the time has something to do with it, I just found my bird after a few pages... What is it called, is it supposed to appear in a specific area? Yesterday I searched for a Titmouse and had to click around quite a bit, but more like a few minutes, not several hours... maybe you simply didn't visit the right place yet :(

Oh my god, it was so obvious as soon as you asked me what the bird was called. It was a Darkside Kite, and as soon as I actually paid attention, I was like "I have to look in Darkside!" So I went to Darkside and there it was!!!

So now I know, to pay attention because my birdy could be a regional birdy :)

Rosemary is asking me for a Omen Islands Gannet and I have been everywhere in the Omen Islands and Port Plunder that you can go into (Five times already) and still no Omen Islands Gannet.

I got the Omen Islands one yesterday and I was online a lot and still haven't found it. :/ And yes, a lot of refreshing on Omen Islands (and everywhere else, really)

The last time they opened up a seasonal hunt I couldn't find the thing they had asked for despite actively looking for an hour or two. I was getting really frustrated and thought that there had been some kind of site error... Then I realized that I had disabled floating items. (I often do that during events after I have enough/as many as I want.)

I would definitely suggest checking your customCSS if you are still having problems.

I don't think it's a CustomCSS problem though. I got my Blue Jay today after three refreshes, but the Riverside Glen I got yesterday refused to show up no matter how hard I refreshed at various places in Riverside. I had to dig one out of my vault today to turn in so that I could move on to the new quest. I think there might be some problem with regional birds.

Oh. No, I'm not saying there isn't a different problem going on. Just that it's a thing worth checking. Sorry I didn't express that better.

I didn't mean to shot down customcss as one possible cause, but seeing many people have had the same problem, I just think there might be something wrong with a few regional birds. If someone could please make a thread in the problem/ bug forum I would go there to report my issue too.

, do I have the worst luck ever, or is my bird watching glitched? I've been asked for Downy Woodpecker since the game returned yesterday (well since it's past midnight, it's three days now?), and I haven't found the bird.

Is there a way to cancel the sighting, or do I have to keep on playing until I find it or buy it? Because it doesn't sound fair to buy a game prize to advance, and it's been 3 days :/

There isn't a way to cancel at the moment. And it's completely fair to buy from shops and show it to Rosemary! Some people did that with bugs and birds in the past because they didn't feel like finding the item :X

That's exactly it, actually! I checked the database with grace and it shows that from like last year you found that bird but never showed it to Rosemary (must've been the last one you had). So just take it out of your minion zoo and show it to her :D

I got the Omen Island Gannet as my bird 3 days ago and I still cannot find it. Seems a little weird the only bird that people seem to be mentioning over and over again is that one. Has anyone found their gannet yet?
