Just got this from the free shop, only one other in the trades. I tried looking it up in the forums, and only found posts from 2009 and 2015, listing around 400mil to 600mil. Subetalodge lists it as 100mil. I'd like to sell this for cheaper since I did get it from the free shop, but I also don't want to be absolutely ripped off =B
Something doesn't seem right here. I thought the issue with godlies coming from the Free Shop was fixed years ago? (And there's another one in trades, but I'm not sure where that's from)
It's been taken out of the pool, . I don't know what you remember being 'fixed' but with how the system is, there isn't really a way to exclude things? It's literally me putting in a range of rarities (say 50-90) and how many items to pull from that range (say 100). When you're doing large batches of like r175 (holiday), some things sneak in. Right now there is like a pool of 10,000 items the free shop is pulling from. Some users have gotten very lucky and gotten some of these weapons before I've been able to get them out (I've gotten most out, I'm double checking the pool now).
Perhaps fixed isn't the best word to describe it, but I thought the irregularities in the past have been excluded for all future Free Shop events. There were stuff aside godlies that have snuck in during the past, for example staff items. It's pretty much a glitch based on user error. Looking at the M-staff thread below, you would be pretty surprised at how much people are quoting it.
I think it's best to halt trading activities, and deal with it on a case by case basis once things are identified. There's nothing worse than having to deal with the headaches that follow on something that ain't your fault.
Oh, I didn't know it was actually a mishap. I'll go ahead and put the item in my vault for now, unless you'd like me to give it to you to purge?

It's a godly weapon and Purge and I are very careful about releasing those in specific numbers (if we re-release at all), so we'd rather you didn't keep it. Don't just delete it, though; submit a ticket and we'll deal with it (we'll give you something!).

Thanks for dealing with this! I appreciate the explanation, but could there be a way to prevent this from recurring? Getting it right the first time would save everyone a lot of trouble later on.
