Merlin was too happy - seems like his silliness was contagious since now Drew was acting silly too. "I'm sorry Niall, I think I'm high on sugar and I still have a space saved for my ice cream." He looks in Magnus direction thinking of doing some prank on him but then hesitated. "Did you guys finish or want more stuff? I'm sure we can squeeze more stuff in, I'm an expert. Not sure if we can enchant the jars or if we would be scolded." He hold his laughter. "I should behave and not show those things to Niall." He felt the need to jump but was afraid to trip and destroy the store in one blink.

Drew laughed at Merlin's antics as the fizzing bubbles subsided. He was glad that he had decided to get some pumpkin fizz and it was already in his jar...somewhere. "I want to squeeze in a few piece of toffee and salt water taffy, oh great squeezer," he said to Merlin with a snicker. "And I'm getting a piece of fudge to munch for now. But the pieces are huge! Not that I can't finish it, but we could share one. Niall, do you have a favorite fudge? Regular? Peanut butter? White chocolate? Dark chocolate? The swirly one that mixes milk chocolate and white chocolate?" He sighed dramatically and playfully said, "Verily good friends, tis too hard a decision for one wizard to make." Then he giggled again and looked at Merlin and Niall.

"I like peanut butter but I like them all, so we can share one since they are quite big. Which one you prefer Niall?" He decided he needed to somehow squeeze fizzing bubbles in his jar or maybe he should just buy them next time he comes because truthfully his jar was way too full. "Maybe I can put a piece in Magnus mouth...but I don't want him to bite me if I piss him off." After a few moments he just said. "I think Gaia and Poppy won't ever let me visit Hogsmade with them."

Niall shrugged off the apology. “Yer allowed to be silly, ye both said yer kids… Mr. Magnus’ jar is finished,” he grinned showing the jar which had three smashed cauldron cakes at the top. “As is mine, so… yes?” He shook his head to Drew. “No thank ya, I’ve got more than enough. I don’t wanna spoil my lunch.”

Magnus was too focused on his drawing to know his friend was planning or had thought of nefarious things. And it was a little too loud for him to have picked up the biting comment either.

"that's right, we're kids...and so are you, and it's great to just have fun," Drew smiled. "Okay, I won't force you to have any of the yummy fudge...at least not right now," he winked at Niall. "I wonder if we'll have some real food before the ice cream. We probably need to."

He considered Merlin's choice of fudge and then with an impish look in his eye approached Magnus. "Mr. Magnus, can you give us your opinion on the topic of fudge?"

“I know I am…” he said quietly to the ground. “I know ya can eat at the Three Broomsticks and the Inn.

Magnus looked up as Drew was suddenly beside him. “Huh?” he asked with a look of confusion.

Merlin was very pleased with both jars in Niall's hands and looked at Drew's half full jar. "Seems like u need help filling that jar with more goodies or are u done? Next stop is a tea place, I would probably need one for tummy ache or digestion." He laughed. "Since we are all kids and are allowed to be silly we should have more fun, are you enjoying your time Niall? I would hate it if I bore you or annoy you too much. Most people avoid me and I can't blame them. I'm too pro accidents." When he saw Drew asking Magnus about fudge, he wondered if he was starting to turn pro accidents too, it seem to Merlin that the wolf wanted to be alone.

Drew smiled and said, "I was just checking on you, Mags. I had asked Niall and Merlin their opinion on their choice of fudge and so I thought I'd ask you too. But mostly I wanted to make sure you were okay," he said his voice getting quieter and more serious.

Niall nodded. “I am.” He mumbled low, but they both probably heard, “I think yer both cool.” Merlin and Drw kept doing things to make him feel welcome and accepted which meant a lot.

“Er, sorry, I’ve not really ‘ad fudge to be ‘onest.” He smiled, “I’m okay. Just staying out the way cos o’ the mob getting at all the sweets. No reason for me to loiter.”

Drew glanced back over at Merlin and Niall and smiled at Niall's comment. He'd heard the younger boy and was glad that he was having fun and that they were all becoming friends and more comfortable with each other.

At Magnus' comment however, his eyes widened slightly. "You haven't? Then it's time you tried a bite. Just one. I'm going to get a piece and share with you guys." Then giving Magnus a friendly poke, Drew said, "You're not in the way with us, goof. Why don't you come back and hang out with me, Merls, and Niall?" he offered.

Merlin got nearer along with Niall, yet Merls wondered if maybe... "He may want some space Drew, he knows he is welcome with us yet he picks to draw and that's fine too. He is probably tired of my obnoxiousness " He grins in a playful way.

Magnus looked at Drew suspiciously. “One small, piece,” he capitulated. “I-I just didn’t want to you know, be a downer. So I thought you’d all ‘ave more fun if I were outta the way for this.” He shrugged. "Nah, Merls, I've been around meself to know who wins obnoxious prize."

Drew bit his lip at Merlin's words. "sorry," he said quietly. He was about to apologize to Magnus and move back when the other boy spoke up. However it was the look as much as the words that got to Drew. He nodded and said, "It's alright, Mags...I won't force you if you really don't want anything. I was just willing to share. And I didn't mean to bother you." He took a few steps back and then added, "For the record, I don't think you're obnoxious."

Merlin shook his head to Magnus words. "I don't think you are obnoxious either, me...well I can totally be but it is the way i am, love me or hate me." He laughs lightly and then looks at his drawing. "Looks quite yummy, you should make a squished version too." He showed his and pointed at Niall's jar. "Since we are done here, lets tell the nuts lady we are leaving and just walk outside for a while..if you want." He looks at Drew hoping he would agree. "Right after Drew gets his fudge of course."

“Ey, I just wanted to make sure you weren’t trying to give me cockroaches,” Magnus said, “that’s all.” He smiled. “I don’t think I am either, it were a joke Drew. I told ya I’m fine. I just ain’t good with this.” He waved his hand around the shop. “I didn’t think should damper the mood is all, so I thought I’d just draw and wait. I’d like getting outside. All this noise is really making me ‘eadache. Its so loud."

Niall showed his jar with a smile. “And we filled yars too. Merlin will force ya to take it later or… Eros can.” He gave a grin. “But there’s no roaches in it, promise.” He look loved over to Drew and Merlin. It didn’t really seem loud to him.

Merlin laughed when Niall blurted out about the jar and then lift his shoulders and hands. "It's true, I'll breathe fire on you otherwise." He waited for Drew to return, got the bags and head out with them. "It was noisy inside but I was loud too so I can't complain. Now we have a little time for ourselves."

Drew couldn't help but make a face at the mention of cockroaches. "Nope nothing like that I promise. Just fudge. And yeah now that we've stuffed the jars, I'm more than willing to head outside for a while. I'd rather enjoy my treats in the fresh air while watching other people and looking around."

Smiling at Niall's look, Drew said, "It's cause his hearing is more sensitive than ours, Niall. I didn't think of that before. I guess it can be a bit too much with everyone clamoring for sweets at the same time in an enclosed space. Okay...outside it is then," he said and went to pay for his extra goodies before joining his friends near the door.

"Ooh I'm soo scared," Magnus said sticking his tongue out at Merlin and holding himself in an exaggerated state of fake fear. He sighed and said, "Alright, since you ain't gonna take no for an answer, I'll take the jar." He took it and slid it in his bag, ruffling Niall's hair with a smile. "Thanks for fillin' it." He popped over to Gaia to tell her that they were going to people watch outside the building as well as telling the Lydia--and thanking her for her and the owner's kindness. Once outside Magnus visibly relaxed as his shoulders dropped. It was true, he did have a headache from all the din. Later though, he'd try to explain the other reason. He somehow managed to get one of the mice pops out of the jar and sucked on that as the enjoyed the breeze.

"Oh," the young boy replied, "that could do it, I guess." He was happy though, he had sweets and pets at the inn--it was a really good day so far.

Paddy heard the laughter & voices getting prgressively louder as her schoolmates sampled more of the sweets. Magnus wasn't joining in for some reason, and Paddy felt she'd rather pick a selection of sweets to put in her jar, than join in the mass taste-testing with everyone else. Avoiding the Fudge Flies and Cockroach Clusters, she added two of everything that sounded tasty to her jar, squashing a cauldron cake onto the top, and adding a bit of the No-Melt Icecream on top of that. Screwing the jar lid back on was challenging and ever so slightly sticky as the ice cream dripped down the side. Wiping the ice cream from the outside of the jar and licking it from her fur, she realised the shop had gone quiet which could either mean that everyone had left, or that there was some kind of silencing sweet hidden amongst the Pepper Imps. Deciding to catch up with them, she dashed out of the door, calling a grateful "thank you" to Lydia as she went.
