Uh... No. Honestly, besides the fact that I'm just not a fan of said color scheme because red and blue would be really garish it also wouldn't fit with the current lore of the site.

Yes, Subeta had real world items in it, but in general, the last couple years the site has also actively stayed away from keeping its lore real-world based so an American colored pet wouldn't fit in with the current site established lore. It would stand out like a sore thumb to have a random real-world based pet color which is essentially what an American flag colored pet would be.

At first I thought you meant Native American... pretty shades of dark brown and tan, markings to represent warpaint or makeup, feathers in fur or braided fur with beads. Something that could also be integrated into Subetan lore, like with the Islanders.

But this? Big no from me.

Subeta has been revamping all of the real world patriotic items to be more Subeta related so it's really unlikely that a color like this would happen.Not to mention that a pet that looks like the American flag would probably look pretty tacky, but that's just my opinion.

I thought this was about Tropicana juice ... :c But well. I have to disagree on the patriotic pet unless I get my Canadianna one. However, I'd really love to have actual lore items from Subeta. Maps, flags etc of all the countries(?) from Subeta. That would be super nice.

Gotta echo agreement for the idea of subetan flags. I know at one point in subeta's past, they made flags for a few real-world countries (Mexican, Canadian and French come to mind, I don't remember if there were others), and I'd love to see the site do something similar for the subetan lands. Bonus points if the flags have fun standards/crests instead of the done-to-death "three different colored bars" theme.

No it wouldn't look great. Red & Blue aren't exactly colours that work out that well together, let alone adding stars & stripes. It would just be tacky on the fur of a virtual pet.

On top of that Subeta stays away from real life country things and political business. Just the mentioning of the word "America" stirs political discussions everywhere. Subeta isn't the place for this. And I have to add as an European I'm honestly tired of the America show everywhere. So please just get an overlay.

But yeah. Back on track. When I saw 'Americana', I thought of like. A sepia-toned pet? Old-fashioned look? The suggestion made sounds neat as well (tribal pet? maybe).

But an American flag themed pet color just seems like an idea best suited for an overlay. Take the galatic pets, change the gold to red, and bam. There's your overt patriotism.

Personal opinions aside, if you're suggesting a color based off the American flag, it seems a little too niche and I don't see there being enough demand to warrant a color like this. I agree; it would be better suited as an overlay.

Americana by definition tends to cover a lot of antiques as well, perhaps you could get an edit done of a Nostalgic pet?
