I ended up like... rank 424 in tier 19 after doing my run this week which was cool for me haha. I kinda like the bonus unit thing but cheaped out using L!Lucina because ranged kills are so much easier. I think Wary Fighter is pretty helpful as Effie usually does a lot of damage but not enough to OHKO, which gives Lucina a nice window of attack. They've been working well together and she usually gets two, three kills a match.

Think I've decided to be happy with my +Res/-Atk Veronica and waste the free pull elsewhere. I don't know who'd want Special Fighter, as fast armours benefit most and I don't have any outside my -Atk Lyn. Bold Fighter is sweet but I similarly am not sure who I'd give it to - they'd have to have merge project potential, at the very least, and also Hardin exists so eh.

Edit: Daaamn kiddos. I just decided I was bored so pulled dancers for a bit; spent about 120 orbs getting up to a 4.25% rate chasing Elincia... and then I pulled two, a dancing Micaiah and Ninian all on the same circle wow. First unit was a 4* Libra. I don't think I've ever pulled three 5*s at once, let alone four. Daaaamn.

I checked my Hector and he was +att -def. I also got a neutral dancing Elincia... I used up the rest of my orbs on the Brave Banner hoping the game would make the free choice easy for me, got a Mist for my troubles. I didn’t have a Mist before, so silver linings and all that. I am still leaning towards Veronica for my neutral pick.

Back from vacation and it turns out my Mia is a attack bane res boon and my dancing Ryoma is a speed bane res boon....bleh

Also got brave Hector from the banner ( got Veronica for my freebe of choice) and will check on his IVs later.

Today's free orbs from th quiz rewarded me with Festival Elincia... or 'Estival' Elincia. lol. (she has a typo in her title, at least I think it's a typo) -spd +hp, but w/e, I'm happy I have another dancer now to feed HM to while training lower units. BrideNinian is just about at 5k now too.

- You got 4 5* at once? Who were the other two? I feel like I've gotten 3 at once once before, but I don't remember who it would have been. (ps. you'll be happy to know I finally pulled a decent (ie not +HP or -att) Fae and promoted her to 5*, she's alreay +2 from the others I had hiding in my barracks. :) )

- Uuugh, Mist is literally the worse colourless pity breaker now, even if you didn't have her. She is a very lackluster unit, with not any good inheritable skills. Nice if she's new though.

- I have a ton of low level units who need to be leveled atm too. OTL. Kind of wanted to train Leif using the TT, but he didn't gain enough SP to get Milk Drink so didn't really become useful. Maybe next TT.

Oh haha whoops I meant two Elincia! I've got a fortunate problem of getting a +Atk and a +Spd, both -Res. Really not sure which one to go with. The built-in Hardy Bearing tempts me away from +Spd as she isn't going to be running Desperation, but she does hit a good level with buffs and Push with 38 base. But +Atk would make up for her pretty dismal base and maybe give her a shot at killing some dragons. I dunno but I need to decide soon, I want to bless her and train her over double SP. I think I'll fodder the other for Atk/Spd Push. Maybe to Veronica? I'd prefer Bond but at least she can self-sustain with the Live to Serve seal.

Micaiah is +Res/-Spd, which isn't too shabby considering her stats and default Ploy, while my second Ninian is +Atk/-Res which might give her a little potential over my current +HP/-Def. Fortify Dragons could be nice fodder but it's a little niche imo. And I gave her Lightning Breath+ whoops.

And congrats on the Fae! I pulled a couple more yesterday which was... a little frustrating. Ah well! Hope you treat my lil dragon pal well!

(Oh and apparently Estival refers exclusively to summer festivals. It's a word! Who knew?)

Haha yeah I have a bit of a haul going too. I need to train all four of the Brave heroes, a new +Atk Felicia I promoted to replace my +Spd, Elincia, Micaiah and new Ninian. Oh, and the random Ares I pulled. Going to be a busy weekend for me!

[edit] i'm... actually having a lot of fun destroying things with fredrick... so i loaded everyone up with high-cost specials (promoted a chrom and gave fred aether!) and now i'm just... burning through all my arena crests and grubbing for high score matches :') parking him on a defense tile after he's been rallied and watching him beat up tiki (who he normally shouldn't touch, even on a def tile) is. very satisfying

- Congrats! Yeah, I'd take the +att Elincia, the built in hardy bearing gives her the ability to break vantage dragons, and you'll want to take out their 75% health reliably. My arena streak nearly got broken today by vantage Nowi. I forgot to put my QR seal back on my own Nowi! So Estival isn't a typo? It looks weird,

- Damn, that's more than I've got. Sonia, Leif, Fae, Estival Elincia, and Brave Lucina. I've got a bunch of 4* that I've been slowly working on leveling up too, but the 5* are the priority.

- w00! Go get your crown! I'm Just JUST outside of being able to stay in T20 for a second week for the first time every, oh well. Competition is tough at the top, 5 points could gain you 500 ranks. I haven't really been trying, but I did give Arvis a merge, not sure if it helped, scores were still mostly 712.

made it to 3722!! 🎉 i'm rank 386 right now, we'll see how things are on monday! i want to keep hunting but 736s were super rare and i've burned through roughly half my dueling crests so i gotta wait... if i realized i had a chance at the crown last week, i'd have no dueling crests left lmao

also i forgot to take pictures, but one of the teams i ran into was four 5*+10 oboros! and then a team of robins and lissas -- a pair of winter ones, and grima and regular lissa. it was cute o:

i'm goin for it, gonna get feh a nice hat! 💪 honestly, arena scoring is still a mystery to me. i think high-cost skills help more than a unit's first few merges, but i could be wrong?? i gave everyone but fred dual rallies and aoe specials, among other things, and it boosted my score range by four points o: i'm not that happy about using aoe specials or losing my movement assists but since you're heavily encouraged to get all your kills with the bonus unit anyway, i guess it doesn't really matter in the long run p:

- IIRC Aether is the same points as AoE, so kill all the Chroms! lol. I probably should have switched Arvis back to his natural AoE special instead of Glacies, they have the same charge time anyway. I should stop turning all the oscars and Rodericks into feathers and give more people dual rallies, but I'm pretty dependant on at least one reposition since I'm running my +10 Nino with fury, and she's usually at 1 HP. lol. Just gotta wait until she's the bonus unit! lol.

aw, but i want to merge some chroms! haha aether and galeforce are worth more than aoe specials (500 sp instead of 300 sp), but aoe specials are way easier to get :B though, i think giving everyone stuff like dual rallies depends on the units? like, i was messing around with an arena calculator and giving all four units dual rallies and expensive specials didn't increase my score so fred kept reposition and morgan kept moonbow. so leaving a unit with reposition should be fine for nino week! hopefully that's sometime soon, i think the invasion of the ninos would be fun :)

- I actually really hate encountering enemy Nino's in the arena. I think it's actually going to be a not very fun week when she shows up! Arvis has been good at dealing with them this week, but that's because his bonus stat buffs stop him from getting doubled by her.

Well, I just summoned a Legendary Ephraim and he's... +spd -hp. So far my best Legendary hero is my neutral Celica, haha. But at least I have 3/4! Not bad for casually summoning. I've spent maybe 100 orbs total.

- Well with + spd, he has a chance of not getting doubled, better than +spd Brave Hector, who is just sad. Brave Ephraim's speed is higher than reg Ephraim and it's the same as horse Ephraim. lol.

yeah it's definitely not the worst! I'm just laughing at my collection of +spd armor units

- Some of them are actually legit good with +spd. Zelgius, Amelia, LA Lyn, ToTHenry, I'm sure there are others that would be good with +spd.

Summoned the last Nowi I need to make her +10 The one I just summoned is +def and -HP, which I think is better than +att -HP, the one I currently have. Ugh, I can't decide which one to keep!

haha yeah, i'm not expecting them to be fun to fight! i just see a lot of armor emblem teams and it's boring... so i'm hoping a popular +10 like nino being a bonus unit might help me see more mixed teams??

i don't really think that's how it works though, and the matchmaking rng would probably give me armor emblem anyway :p
