I'll be taking the RICA. Its to test how well i can determine a child's reading competency and be able to come up with a plan as to how i will improve their reading. Its a 4 hour test, it sounds really long but i almost ran out of time last time i took it.

I get mixed up as to who I've told, but i missed the test by 7 points! Only 7 ugh! I've heard rumors about the results or rather the judging of the test. I've heard that if they meet a quota for # of people who passed, they then fail the rest. Not sure how true that is. Its a 3 part test. 60 multiple choice, 3 short answer questions, 1 case study essay. The essay was where i failed, i didn't score enough points.

Either way i might wait on scheduling it and just focus on studying for now. xD

That's so dumb!!!!! They shoulda just passed you XD I hope that that isn't true, if it is that is SO beyond messed up. I'm extremely bad at writing and essays, so I would definitely be in the same boat as you if I had to take it. I'm wishing you all the best on the next time you take it! YOU GOT THIS! ^0^
