yes, it is. roosters are usually the higher percentage of chicks so many are free at this time of year

i have a hen that i am hoping will go broody again in the spring and i will put eggs under her. would so cool for the kids to see some chicks.

chicks are a blast, just will have to so some work on the chicken before they come.. so they don't stress out mommy chicken when they go where she can't and we have a weasel that may want to eat them to hoping make it so it can't climb in. it ate the baby song sparrows i was watching grow this summer. they were almost to feathery and then they were pieces. "/

yea, i was. i'm not a bird fan but i was enjoying watching them grow every day. i know how.. i just need to locate some metal that is high enough to put along the bottom so that it can't jump/climb in. also smaller wire it can't climb thru.

LOL! You're not a bird fan but you have chickens and a rooster on the way :P That won't be fun to fix up DX I hope you find everything you need for it.

farm birds are an exception xD i think everything can be found here but not sure how to work it, lol xP

yup, you can have deer farms, elk, buffalo but they are all so big and you can't do anything personal with them. but you can train and work with caribou. also possible fennec foxes and they are so cute
