Oh, that does sound horrible. Was it dark a lot of the time, too? My family never celebrated Halloween growing up for 'religious' reasons. So I can't really say anything about it, haha.

What is it a specific Agriculture course or just one of those generic elective ones? (I think it was offered at my high school or something...) And Animal Planet is awesome! The 'music' channels don't have much music nowadays (although I don't watch television, anyways so). Hopefully she'll have better luck catching him. ^^ Moo-moos? oh yea, we would always have the lights on. was very easy for us to know what houses were giving out candy. some would just put the candy on the deck with the porch light on. my sister wouldn't let me take it all xD

yes, but i have to say its very hard trying all by yourself, especially for me who likes to be shown how to something first. XD i also hate having my family so far away as i know they would be helpful but thats not the case. yup just and elective, i joined hoping it would be good but it was crap, i learned more in my native classes. yes, she will get him in a box the night before as its easier to catch when they are perched at night. cows, haha, i call them moo-moos a lot, haha xD

Has been! Worked a shorter day than usual.. went out for dinner.. just came home had a shower, Nathan gave my my gift and I found out my sister is having a girl!

Oh noes! Last night of toting. Been busy with work, took my class on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. Then today for halloween we had themed stations and made a trail mix called Halloween Boo Mix. We also watched the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Haha, yeah, that would make it easier. My parents always tried to make sure all the lights were off so nobody would even come to the door. :C That is one way to do it, although it makes it easier for people like you (if your sister hadn't stopped you!) to take more than they should, haha.

Yeah, I imagine it would be very hard. And don't worry, I'm like that, too. I like my instructions and hesitate to jump in head-first blind. I'm sure your family would be very helpful. can't hubby has a good job here that we can't get there. it sucks and if i could move back i would in a heart beat. haha, that is the easiest way to catch a chicken, is when they are roosting. they're not easy to catch unless you're really good at it. haha, yes i love me my moo-moos :D

Ah, I can understand that. We moved around a lot when I was a kid, often because my dad switched companies a lot. Well, perhaps eventually you'll be able to move back? Optimism? xD Ah, you learn something new everyday! Although this knowledge won't do me much good, haha. Never seen a cow in person, but they are cuter than some other farm animals. ^^

i got more then enough. i never filled bags and bags of pillow cases like some but i didn't need too. my sister was always shocked as i would have candy last until the next Halloween. i was never a huge candy eater. food yes, candy meh. haha xP

thankfully we didn't move when i was a child. i woulda found it so hard, as i don't make friends easily. but hubby (boyfriend at the time) we did a few moves following jobs until he got this one and we have been here almost 5 years, and i am well ready to go home, lol xD haha yes, not much help when you don't live on a farm xP

Bags and bags of pillow cases? That's a whole lot! Guess their parents didn't care about cavities or sugar rushes, haha. Making it last works, guess you were more for collecting the candy than actually eating it!

Not even once? I went to 11 different grade schools, so it not moving around seemed weird for me. I was able to make friends (mostly), but they weren't exactly lasting friendships. 5 years? I suppose that's not too long, about the amount of time my family has been in this house (since my parents bought it). It feels so weird to think I've been here as long as I have. I am sure you are ready to go home! I only lived in a 'rural' area for about a year, and it wasn't really my thing. The neighbors didn't help any, though.

it was mostly the older kids who go out by themselves in groups. yeah, i even gave my mom the candy i didn't like. i mostly went out actually because of a little kid who had no one else but me. once he was older i was so happy i didn't have to freeze no more, lol xD but his halloween parties were always fun, my sister and i would always sneak in and scare everyone. xP

nope my parents have lived only three places. the one met and dated in, the one they raised my brother and sister and the one i grew up in. i do love to move, the packing and sorting is sooo much fun imo, haha xD i love the outdoors and really enjoy watching the wildlife we have pass through. seen a Canadian lynx for the first time in my life this early spring when there was still snow on the ground.
