Well I do own the graphic novels, in color, but are like the movie. I believe they were probably made after the movie.
I'm going to check those books out!!!! =D Thank you!
Oh, man...so many.
Steven Universe, Firefly/Serenity, Star Wars, Star Trek, Discworld, The Dresden Files, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Fallout, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Adventure Time, Invader Zim, Bravest Warriors, Bee and Puppycat, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Princess Bride, Blackadder, Penny Dreadful, Marvel, DC, Preacher, The Muppets, Monty Python, Dragonlance, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Oh boy other fandoms and nerd-like stuff! I'm in the right place 😄 Other than HP my top fandons that will forever be tops are LOTR and X-Files (yeah I know I'm showing my age here). I also love anything Disney. Like several of you have said Hunger Games was so much better to me than Divergent. I'm probably in the minority here (just like when I started off as a Snape lover way back before everyone knew how truly awesome he is!) but I am team Gale. I always loved him in the books and the movies both...though I haven't seen the last half of Mockingjay yet. Other fandoms that I've been hooked on include Pirates of the Caribbean, Narnia, Full Metal Alchemist, the Percy Jackson books, and the Ranger's Apprentice books. There are probably more but that's the most of my addictions.
I totally forgot FMA! The real question is: FMA or FMA: Brotherhood?
oh boy that's a tough choice but I think I'd have to go with FMA since it was my foray into the love of anime. My son had watched DBZ quite a bit but I never truly got into it. Then I found FMA and I was hooked. 😄 that led to reading and watching Bleach and Soul Eater which I also like a lot.
: I've read the Howl's Moving Castle books and they are fantastically filled with dry British humor. There were lots of scenes left out of the movie because Miazaki loves personalizing his works, and picks a topic that he feel needs to be discussed. For instance, in Howl's Moving Castle, he wanted to focus on war in general and required enlistments. It's why the book and movie are so drastic from each other as far as plot goes/how it ends.
My other fandoms are general nerdy things. I love D&D, Anime, Manga, Books, and Video games. My favorite video game is Zelda by far (Seriously, if you ever want to talk Zelda HMU), followed by Pokemon and Mario. I love plenty of PlayStation games, but never enjoyed X-Box or PC gaming. I prefer DC Comics over Marvel, but I prefer Marvel Movies :D
Honestly, my primary fandoms currently are Gravity Falls, Homestuck, Steven Universe, and Wild Kratts.
I always will love Sailor Moon, Star Trek, Profit and Twin Peaks as well.
I was really active in HP fandom from 2002-2007 but left the fandom in a huge snit over the way the last two books panned out (and no, I don't mean shipping issues.) I don't know that I consider myself a true HP fan, but I love RPing Slytherin characters and characters who are aware of the weird discrepancies and discordances of the universe :)
