Hi everybody! It's that time again. We're looking for some ideas for new features/events. We still have some stuff in the works, but we would love to hear from you!

Before anybody asks, we are working on the Quidditch system behind the scenes. We're getting pretty close! :D

As you can also see, I've been working on adding a few chat/discussion threads to try to cultivate more of a community that bonds us beyond our houses. If you have any suggestions for other threads, feel free to post them here or make the thread yourself! Members are free to post chat threads in the Great Hall (for HP related and non-HP related topics).

I like the bonding between houses a lot. I always feel so separated from the other houses, thus activities that include everyone is a really nice thing to have.

its totally ok, I mean...I had looked and asked a couple of people about if we could start threads, and they werent sure if only like the admins could or not, so its great to know for certain now that its ok :)

I've been really into snail mail lately. I would love to do a postcard exchange, and maybe a small package swap down the road if the former was successful. Getting mail is so fun and I like the idea of writing letters and having pen pals.

I definitely love this idea and think it's rather interesting. ^^ It's kind of a lost art, having pen pals or writing letters to people and actually sending them out the old fashioned way, instead of having everything based on the internet. I would most certainly be down to partake in an activity like this.

As for suggestions of my own, I know we incorporate roleplay into the group but has anyone every thought about an off-site forum for those interested? I've actually been working on one of my own sites (it's a post-potter sort of deal) and was going to offer it up to everyone here once it's made. Something like that could definitely be fun and would allow everyone to bring their characters over and interact with anyone from any house at anytime, etc.

I am not sure that this is really a feature idea, but more of a request/suggestion? I was wondering if on the challenge threads (the ones with definite answers), after points are awarded at the end, if you would be able to list the correct answers? :) I think it would be nice for the folks who missed a point or two to know what they missed or got incorrect, unless of course there is a reason that you do not do this.

I also really liked 's postcard/package swap suggestion. :D I did it before on a previous forum I belonged to and everyone really enjoyed it!

Aww, sad day. ): Is there anything that we could do that wouldn't involve collecting private information?

Aww, that's a shame, I suppose we will have to come up with something else? I am not sure how many artsy people we have in our group, but a digital art exchange might be fun? Or we could do smail "pen pals" with a random person who wanted to be part of the exchange? It's not quite the same as getting a real postcard, though. =X

Yeah, I think an art trade would be fun. :D Maybe we could draw each other's Wizarding characters? Or our character's pets, for people like me who are more comfortable with drawing animals? ;)

I would definitely be down for an art trade. I'm a graphics freak but sadly not too good with traditional stuff but I'd be down to try! :D
