Marguerite-I adopted her from the pound as Margarete for the name and then changed her to Marguerite during a name clearing but I'm not as attached to the name anymore though.

Kui Orvis Tevelo Thermopylae Constantinople-redundant. I'm planning on changing the name eventually since I already have a Byzantine pet, but originally I created that particular pet for the name but it's just redundant to have two Byzantine empire inspired pets.

Kui through Thermopylae were all recently adopted/created pets so I'm not as attached to them yet simply because I haven't actually gotten to the point of sitting down and creating concrete ideas for them yet.

Sinead Arlene Tanner

I found these guys in the pound and adopted them for their names, but I haven't been able to come up with any real compelling ideas for them yet. Therefore, I'm way less attached to them than I am to all of my other pets.

Torbjorn- he's in the same universe as my pet Siberia, and I'm a little bit more attached to her than I am to him.

Acropolis Deneb Filipe Joji Sinatra Utagawa

I guess those are the pets I am least attached to. Acropolis and Joji are both rehashed characters, Filipe doesn't have much in the way of development despite me having him for so long. Sinatra and Utagawa have solid story plans and I love them but if I had to get rid of them, I probably could. Deneb is one I've actually been toying with getting rid of for a long time but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Hm. Most of my pets are 1. OCs close to my heart or 2. fanpets of characters that are really important to me, but there's definitely a few stragglers.

Etana, Merel - I love their names and general ideas, but they've kinda fallen through and I don't know what to do with them. They're lovely pets on pet+species and name basis alone, but.. mm.

Alice Margatroid, Hong Meiling - They're both less important to me than the others in their universe. The first one was adopted from a friend who really liked her but couldn't do much with her, the latter was on an impulse partially so I could depict her the way I wanted; but they're not as critically valuable to me compared to the other 9.

Riine - I'm in a constant flux between wanting to keep them and wanting to make them into something else. They don't really belong on Subeta for a lot of reasons-- the main one being that the creator of their species was actually a part of Agoge before being effectively run off due to their personal project being shut down without any communication. It's all a bunch of really gross old drama, but it makes me feel really guilty about keeping Riine in any incarnation on here. :/

Ok, this is more like a process of elimination for me. I know I'm keeping all my fandom names (because I'm pathetically attached to other people's fictional characters). Then, I'll probably keep all the other names with finished character designs. So...I'll probably pick:

Kev: I made him only because I wanted a K name. But I think I will eventually give up on the idea of collecting A-Z names. It's just not possible in my case.

Raider: I adopted him because I wanted to make him a Vikings fanpet along with Viking and Mischief. But the show screwed up, so I tossed my original ideas away. I can still use Viking and Mischief for other OCs, but I'm struggling with Raider.

Coda: I'm quite indifferent towards the name.

Diabolical:because I can only work with nouns.

Bloodbath: well because I have 60+pets and I have to list 5 pets xD.

This is pretty tough. I don't really wanna put new pets up because I'm still in brain-storming mode and they could potentially be one I love. WHO KNOWS.

Aleksei - Still not 100% sure on ideas for this guy. I like the spelling and I'm all about dem' male names, but still off and on and my inspiration has been limited lately.

Noboru - Got this name because I love the sound of it and it's a very pretty and exotic sounding name, but I have also been lacking on the inspiration with designing/creating the character.

Setzer - Definitely one of my favorite fandoms. I find him pretty hard to write for though, but I freaking love his profile.

Noriko - Had a few small ideas for this girl, but none have fleshed out yet. I don't plan to give up, though. Hoping something more solid comes to me so I can get going with designing.

Theon - Super new pet tbh and not gonna lie, I totally got it because of GoT. No ideas yet, but I do love his name. I don't want to make this a fandom so I'm hoping I get some OC inspiration.

I am under 60 so this is as much pain as I will post for now Q__Q Had to really think on this because I will basically sit on something until I need to make a change in my pets LOL. my mentality with them is as seen below.

Mmmm, I actually have quite a few that I have no idea what I'm going to do with, but can't bring myself to get rid of :s

SCP - I found them in the pound, and was thinking of making them a sort of directory pet (sort of like 's Cryptozoology) of all the different SCPs (or at least a handful of interesting ones) but I have absolutely no clue how I'm going to do that lmao

Clipped - I found him in the pound and zapped him, I was going to have him be a fallen angel pet, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with him anymore

Disguised - A pet I created from a name that was on an inactive account, I dunno what I'm gonna do with him either

Thalassian - At this point, I'm just keeping her for her ID numbers and name, I found her in the pound and had the idea to make her into a Blood Elf fanpet of one of my WoW characters, but I don't know if I'm going to roll with that idea (or even which Blood Elf character of mine I'll choose)

Gallantry - Another name I found in the pound, I was thinking of making them a WoW fanpet for one of my characters (or maybe just a knight character in general, idk)

7 Pets COULD leave if I REALLY needed a slot. But until then none of them will leave. And if any of them would, my heart wouldn't even bleed.

Most of them have a character, but I could live without them on Subeta. They'd still live in my heart.

Sazh - he just sits there. I probably wouldn't keep him if I wasn't trying to collect Final Fantasy 13 party members, but I probably won't be able to get the final members anyway so idk.

Jase - I don't work well with RNs that are not fandom RNs D: I may change his name in the future, or just make a new bloodred popoko with a different name. Its just sooooo difficult to find a new name that I actually like.

Nanael - I found her in the AC a few months ago and changed her into an angelic sheeta. I actually stalked her name when I first started playing Subeta as I was into Queen's Blade a while back. Her name never cleared and then I stopped watching the name and forgot about it. Then I was surfing the AC and she showed up so I snatched her up. I still love the name, but now I am not so much into Queen's Blade so idk what to do with her.

Dopey and Azule - found them in the AC this week. I know I won't be keeping them, I am just zapping Dopey for now and maybe hoping Azule will grow on me? Probably not.

I have SO many pets that I haven't worked on lately, or started to re-work and just kind of got lost. I guess if I absolutely had to, I would rehome... Vrisha...not that fond of her name, but I like her story so far. Teeny...not fond of his name, or his story. Needs reworking. Amri...he's a Glade Tigrean that I HAD TO HAAAVE and I love his name, but his character is just kind of...eh. Funsies...thought it was a great idea at the time but I haven't done any work on her in a while.

Honestly though, if it weren't for working full time, I would have these guys all profiled, arted, and storied up, lol.

Ikr? I don't have the motivation to work on a pet that's already won the spotlight. It would be different if I applied and received a pet knowing that it was already a PS winner, but I'd rather work on my other pets that have bare profiles than further perfecting a pet that's already a winner. I've contemplated giving him up here and there, but I think the only reason I'd actually go through with it is if there was a name I simply HAD to have.

well, i guess i'll do this too because it's what all the cool kids are doing and i love despair so

nameless - mostly just having trouble with getting attached to this guys character. i know exactly what i was going for & want to do with him, and he is literally perfect for it... but coloring him on top of writing out his particular idea is a pain in the ass.

prey - love chis character but i feel like the 'way' he got his name is kind of a stretch, i'd probably go for a name that's actually a little more closely related to his character if i was able to get one.

surrender - literally same story as above; beautiful word, beautiful name, but kind of a stretch in terms of how it relates to her actual character, especially since i plan to revamp her quite a bit and sever that connection more. plus she's similar to two of my other babies so i dunno.

techno - i adore his name and the person who gave him to me and he will literally never go anywhere. i love my idea for him, and his color, and everything. but i feel sort of bad having him when i don't really listen to that kind of music often. ya'll know how that goes.

cryptid - love him, love everything about him, but i'd literally give an arm and a leg to have wendigo instead of his name, because that's essentially what he is. i went ahead and made him a shapeshifter because what the hell else am i gonna do with an entire genus. i mean i could make my own cryptid but i'm lazy, tf.

I would give up:

- Ea and Inoo, because I don't have any proper plans for either of them yet.
- Katsuji because I'm not too fond of her name.

But in all honesty, I could probably get rid of everyone but Taejun, Yaotome (battle pet) and Yuzuru Hanyu (fan pet), if I absolutely had to. :D

Indonesia - was made to be a sibling pet to Malaysia but now i got Singapore which works as well and maybe better because theyre a tiger and lion compared to a tiger and dragon. but im still trying q.q

Austria - impulse from a clearing, thanks to sweet who caught it! she has a great name but in my effort to tie all my pets to the same universe, its hard to work on her. she'd be great as a composer or war hero if i didnt try so hard.

Sweden - impulse adopt, i forgot from who (im sorry!!!! q.q) the name of a song i used to love to play in a game, but idk what else i can do with it T.T ikea?

Singapore - i love his name but ugh i cant think of a character

Jue - just the name doesnt sit with me right, but shes a sweet child to me. dunno what to rename her to though, sadly. there was a name i was stalking but the user opened their account a few hours before the clearing and wow my heart shattered then and there T.T

Eons - the name? it gets lots of compliments and i love it too, but somehow i feel it doesnt match the rest of my pets. shes gone through a few name changes already though.

Ichihara - MY BABY but yeah i like short names and Ichihara feels much too long ;0;

Deathwing - Hearthstone and WoW yeahhhhh!!!! v but im horrible at fanpets so i feel my current character for him doesnt do him justice T.T ive tried to adopt him out before but my friend is a legend HS player and prefered Deathwing to stay with me, so ive just kept him.

I love them all dearly (and some of them are extremely old!), but in the 'all my pets are connected in some way' story, these five have the least amount of connections, and character development. Jengah especially since he's my newest and doesn't have a character at all.

Ok, this is a har choice, but if I really had to, there are some I would give into good hands:

Arik - I love that name and was happy as I found it on an inactive account but somhow I can't come up with a suitable character for him.

Kitai - she is rather new. I found her in the pound but have no real plans set for her atm

Tribun - wanted to make an roman empire based character out of him but run out of ideas cause I allready used a lot of potential on Marcius, Octavian, Quintus, Ferox and Livius ^^

Zenturio - Sames as Tribun

Templer - He is rather new and I have nothing really fleshed out for him atm

I really love that guys but if I had to they would be the only ones I could part with atm.

I also know this alternate spelling "problem". I have Matthis as some kind of a place holder but actually would die for Mathis. It is such a small change but it is important for me ^^. In other cases I prefere the alternate (German) spellings like on Hektor or Ikarus.

Tasteless - honestly, this started out more or less as a joke?? but then i ran with it and eventually had too much fun with it, eventually giving her a character. :') but there's... very little reason for her to be on subeta.

DEVICES - another thing with both DEVICES and Tasteless, there used to be a thread that connected their stories together, as well as five other pets, albeit in a very tangential way. after some time i decided it was best if the stories weren't connected at all, and i even rewrote several of them into oblivion, and DEVICES' story suffered for that. i like the story, but i don't know if i should/could develop it here now. x:

Terracotta - admittedly an impulse adopt, he had a real low id and i wanted one... but the name is hard for me to work with, and it's kind of sapping my inspiration even though i want to change it ; ;

Kaboom! - another impulse adopt, bc how cool is that name?? and i've had a TON of ideas for her - adrenalyne filled ideas, like what the name inspires. but there's a problem: none of them involve explosions... it's seriously silly and i know it, but it feels like there should be at least ONE explosion in her story, to justify the name, y'know?

and you will have to pry these pets from my cold, dead hands, but i want to vent so w/e Azy - first pet i created in this account, or at least the oldest pet that i created myself that remains in my account. she's been through a LOT of changes, both color-, species-, AND story-wise, and now she's back to being a blank slate. i don't want to abandon her or change her name, but i don't really know what to do with her, either...

Kiaqa & Antartica - tl;dr: i wrote their story to help myself, in a way, understand me better. the story did it's job, but now i can't help but feel that the story, to an outsider, would be ... pretty bland. x x; and i don't want to change their names or their color... but i just can't get ideas for a new story for the both of them.

This thread is the worst and by that I mean it's actually really thought-provoking and fascinating to see the reasoning behind which pets would be less of a priority to people. Seeing as literally two of my good friends on this site have posted to this thread I am also going to jump the bandwagon and post here too.

I currently have 59 pets so I think I'm closer to the "should pick five+" mark, so I'm going to try shooting for over five oh boy this is gonna be unfun. x'D

Ezlo - I love The Minish Cap. It's my second favorite Zelda game personally, and I love Ezlo too but, in all honesty I'd rather own Vaati since he is my second favorite fictional character. The irony here being, Vaati is owned by one of my friends actually, and I'd rather not steal one of my friends' pets. x'D Haha! Ezlo's great and all but, I just don't have as much inspiration for him. I've been considering on and off putting him up for UFA or name changing him but, I'll probably just keep him really.

Loki Odinson - I had a really good idea for a story for this character back before the Avengers came out, but as you can tell the character progression of him disowning his father in Avengers makes his last name kind of obsolete. I was thinking of still doing the idea / just making him completely a Thor movie fanpet, but then Thor II came out and... I really, really disliked Thor II personally. Which sadly put a serious damper on this character for me. I used to love Loki an awful lot but, not liking a movie or sequels can kind of kill that devotion, you know? I actually REALLY adore the heck out of Norse mythology though + collect books on it (which is one of the reasons I do really like Thor + Avengers - there's so many fun little references to Norse mythology in those movies, and Marvel's take on it's really intriguing), but I'm kind of at a loss of what to do with this pet right now. If I can find a good name I might name-change him and make him based more off of the original mythological source than Marvel's adaptation. (By the way, I find it funny the OP of this thread owns the pet that's actually named Loki! Haha, small world.)

Kazuichi Soda, Peko Pekoyama, and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu - All of these are Danganronpa fanpets, and while DR is definitely my favorite storyline, these particular characters are characters that I kind of like but I'm not horribly attached to. Kotoko Utsugi is kind of the same way for me, but the catch being I don't want anyone else to own her due to... uh... reasons. She's pretty controversial in the franchise, and I'd hate to see someone do something with her that's really... uhm... uhm... I don't know how to explain it. Let's just say it's triggering and so I wouldn't want her in anyone else's hands honestly. (Anyone who knows DRAE probably knows exactly what I'm talking about.)

Daaku Pitto - I've honestly wanted to change this sucker's name for years but I don't have any good ideas on a name-change. He's obviously based off of Dark Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising, which is literally one of my top favorite games. (I'd say it's about 5 or 6th place for me - it's a little debatable whether or not I rank FFIX higher or not.) But his name drives me nuts honestly. I made him this way because one of my really good friends (who no longer actively plays Subeta) made a pet named Akari Pitto as a name parallel to mine, but. Like I said, she no longer really plays so... it's a shame.

Torico - I know I just made this pet recently but it's mostly because I really wanted to do an overlay edit for some reason, and I'm not a huge fan of The Last Guardian. As lovely as I think the atmosphere/visuals/animation is for the game, the storyline ultimately disappoints me and feels a bit plot-hole-esque, so I may actually be putting him up for adoption at some point.

I think that's about it for what I'd be willing to get rid of, aside from the one pet I'm holding for one of my friends currently. x') I named 8 pets though, so that's a pretty decent amount I suppose? I love all of my pets pretty much. They're the primary reason I play this site actively. xD

If I absolutely had to I'd probably be willing to give up all but Midnight, Swift, and Frond. Maaaaybe Ruso because he's my oldest

Oh gosh, such a question. I don't know if I would ever adopt them out maybe rename eventually? (What if they hear me????) but if I had to pick I'd go with:

Flutterbat - She was rejected from the spotlight queue a few times so I went back to the drawing board with her somewhat and now I'm just stuck and a bit fed up.

Iceni - I love her name but I don't really know what I'm doing with her

Karida - Mostly because I already have three pets that start with the letter K and for some reason I want to have at least one pet that starts with each letter of the alphabet, and Karida is probably the one K name I am least attached to

Quaoar and Vhagar - mostly for the same reason as Karida.
