It's already coded into the site with the berries, I don't see how making it an option during pet creation is really that different? This suggestion isn't asking for more genders, which seems closer to what your'e talking about, just making it an option to use an already established gender during pet creation.
I'd love this and I'd definitely use it.
Also, didn't the gender berry start as the sex berry? Honestly, I think the wording is a moot point, it could definitely be a useful and fair option either way.

Throwing in my support, too! I don't think the option of having a genderless pet should be exclusive, especially since we have a lot of people that identify outside the gender binary.

I 100% support this and lowering the price of the berries in the MC.
Prices should be vastly lower for peeps with existing pets, hands down.
We should also, in this year 2019, have far more gender options for pets :| Both when creating a pet, and when changing our existing pets.

Yes pls. More gender options are always good. (I'd also love if existing pets who were turned Steamwork had access to the gear gender but that's a thing for another day...)
Since apparently misrepresenting your pet's gender on their profile/this site is a warnable offense (which is ridiculous, ngl), it should be a lot easier to change their gender. I think it should be free, honestly, but even just affordable would be good. The cost and the labour involved (if you don't want to pay 10Mil) really get in the way of the actual creative enjoyment of pets.
If the gender berries are kept, then when using it, the default shouldn't be genderless -> male. It should be genderless -> user option. Male shouldn't have been the default to begin with, tbh.
With the (good) direction this site has taken, it sounds like we all agree this is super outdated, and I know of others who would agree as well. I'm also in full support of more gender options during pet creation, with at least the three that you can get through the berries.
Does anyone know if the mods have been considering this?

HELLO, ALL. You might've just gotten a notification from me for posting on the other thread about genderless berries but HI AGAIN.
So and I have worked on doing two things:
- You can now create a genderless pet from the get go! This includes regular adopt pets (kumos, chai, etc), zapper pets (the croc, peacock thing), etc. If you see the option missing anywhere, let know! They were very diligent about trying to get them all updated/working properly because this was an important update to them!
- Gender and Genderless berries are now 2mil in the MC instead of 10 mil! The Genderleses berry used to be given out only through the BHH, which as we all know isn't the easiest way of getting an item. It was UB for a long time and that's why we put it in the MC! Gender Berry was like a r98 or r99 restockable that sometimes we'd Token Shop. :x
