Hi everyone, Im very new to RP, I did Wayward Squirrel in 2015, and think I managed ok, but please let me know if I make mistakes, thank you for the advice on the common room thread. I am very old lol, but silly and foolish, dont be scared of getting old, its great, you really become yourself and dont give a .... what others might think so much. asked me to go to school with her, and up to now Im coping with the classes, but the RP scares me, shes great at it! I have a family, I live in England, 2 dogs, I play games like fallout, skyrim,sims ages ago, used to read all the time but now its the computer, although Im reading 'Odd Thomas' series by Dean Koontz on my kindle, i read all sorts of genre. I have been learning to play the ukulele for years but Im rubbish lol. A few health issues migraines, atm Im sat here with dark glasses on 😁 feeling sickly but determined to do some bits on Subeta. also have aches and pains in shoulder which I think is a trapped nerve, Im seeing an osteo in Feb for it. Im kind and generous, a bit daft and still need help with stuff sometimes. offer advice when its not asked for is probably my worst failing, but I think that comes with age, you think you know everything lol. I use lol too much :0) Pleased to meet you all, I am amazed the amount of work all you put in, it is wonderful. Oh and I either dont talk or say too much LIKE THIS POST.

Don't stress about not being the best at RP. We all had to start somewhere and making booboos is how we learn :D I think everyone who is active is nice enough to be able to help without being a meanie butt about it X3 I'm happy to see new faces!!

I'm new here, too. I'm an older player, too, like my bestie, . I live in the rust belt of the US. I'm the proud mother of two great kids (who are grown-ups now, but they'll always be my kids) I have a dog and a cat. I love to cook, and I specialize in Cuban dishes and other Caribbean foods, but I'm working on learning Middle Eastern food as well.

I have been involved in RPGs since I was about 12 years old (when D & D was released!) but my new character, Mac, has several firsts for me. I've never played a female character, and I've never played a character who was not an adult. So far I'm having great fun with Mac. I hope she develops into a fun and very 'real' character for me. :)

no <3 One thing I like is rp-wise and even class wise you do what you can and what you want. There's no pressure. And is right, we will be happy to help you in any way we can. So I'm confident you'll be fine <3. But you should know as a rule, I'm always happy to lend a hand so please feel free to ask and if I don't know, I'll point you in the right direction. Magnus was my first kid playing too. Its a lot of fun. He's slowly growing and its neat seeing him become the person he is, so hopefully you'll enjoy this with Mac <3

I am enjoying Mac so far. I didn't write her to be a funny kid, but as soon as she started talking I realized she was funny. Plus I get to use all of the Southern expressions that my family used when I was growing up. The challenge is playing her to not be a much younger child, which was surprising to me. And I really appreciate you having the time to RP with me so I could find Mac's voice! I feel like I have a fairly good grip on her now. :)

D&D?! that was my very first introduction to rp -- my parents met through it. Dad still plays, in fact! I've finally found a monthly group (4th edition, I think? Might be 5th. I can't keep track anymore. And I will always be THAC0 in my heart, no matter how much sense d20 makes). Tabletop is often quite different from forum rp, though there are groups that do things more like a blend of the two.

I'm very used to my characters developing minds of their own, sometimes right away. <3 Mac is fun, and I wanna learn more about her.

I have not played D & D in years now, but I do play with a weekly gaming group. Right now we are playing Exalted, but we change up what game we play at the end of every adventure. We have been playing together for years. It is SO COOL that your parents met through D & D. That should give you mad gamer geek cred anywhere! ;)

Well I say Dad still plays D&D -- I think his current group's done a Pathfinder campaign, and a few other systems, but all stuff that's more or less similar. <3 I am SUCH a geek. You have no idea.

LOL...I sure got the power surges (hot flashes) I think if I live through my millionth power surge, that I will unlock a new boss. It will be a legendary battle to be sure! :)

Im fascinated by how RP works, like on that RP board, we are/were at the meet & greet party, does that just carry on timewise, or does someone eventually RP walking in and its today and not Sunday? like: Sisley entered the common room and threw her books on a side table, "What a ton of homework for our first week!" "Its only Wednesday, and I'm pooped" she complained. You know moving it along? If theres a better place to learn all this please let me know lol, I dont want to become a bore.

Hi everyone! I am Keet, and I'm still relatively new to Wizarding/Ravenclaw house here/RP. However, I have been on Subeta on and off for almost 11years. I have my own small jewelry and art business (it's just me), so I enjoy all things creative. I also love music and and I am a huge bird enthusiast. On Subeta, I collect bird/mythical bird creature items. I also love Subeta fashions and creating new HAs. You will probably notice that my RP character Keet is basically just me if I were a part of the wizarding world. =) I'm more creative with visual art than I am with writing apparently, haha. As an introvert and someone with anxiety, sometimes even online I get overwhelmed and fall off the map for a bit. However, I am looking forward to meeting all of my fellow Ravenclaws! :D

Hello. I am new to the group, but not new to subeta. I played neopets for awhile and transfered to Subeta. My husband used to play as well but no longer does. --He is very much a Slytherin through and through. I always identify more with Ravenclaw.
I am not great at rp nor really enjoy it a whole lot, but I do like small bits of what I would more so call creative writing. Spelling and typos are my biggest enemy!--I apologize in advance--- that's very not Ravenclaw,lol. In real life I enjoy all art and crafty things, and read a lot. Mostly retellings of fairytales. I am usually on for small bits and may not always have time to chat. I really love the Harry potter world, and look forward to the activities and whatnots here.
