I don't mind the changes too much, but it is a little frustrating that some parts of the site are larger than others. Trying to tweak css codes but it's a pita -_-

If a change like this is going to break everyone's pet profiles then how is it a good idea? It'll speed up the site slightly, but mess up a bunch of other stuff? This doesn't make any sense at all. I'm using the scode to make it look normal again.

I use mainly Safari (on ios) to access Subeta and it looks very nice now (Is the default font Helvetica Neue? Something Helvetica-esque anyway. Pretty.). The sidebar font is a bit big, but I can probably fix it with CSS.

However, I'm kind of dreading how everything will look like on my work PC. Hopefully not so bad I'll have to apply CSS in everything...

I don't mind so much having a new font, but I do agree that it's kind of weird that now everyone will see the site with different fonts depending on what system they're using.

I think that probably makes things like having proper sizes for buttons and such more difficult, because maybe in one font they're too big but in another font they're too small.

It makes more sense to me for a website to have one default font for the site that everyone will see, unless a person wants to make individual changes with custom CSS or whatever.

My Subeta clock is now tiny as hell, apart from that everything seems to be okay on my end so far. So glad that my pet profiles have survived this time (at least for me :x) though it wasn't really funny to check 73 of them just in case...

-time {font-size: 12pt; border: 0px;} You can use that to adjust the clock if you need to.

Thank you! Had to further resize it (9pt) but now it looks more or less okay.

It looks like it's not working for me? I need the font at 9 but it's still very small. (the border code does not change anything).

Some of the sizes are way off but other than that, it's so much easier to read and it actually stays put instead of wandering.

I'm ... really not feeling it. :/ It's very varied in font sizes, Some things look absolutely crushed and out of place, other things look like they're really stretched out to fit the box they're in.

I could get used to it, but the more I look at it, the more it's obvious that it really needs to be polished up. The sizes are all over the place.

Glad I manually coded the font size and type into my petpages, holy shit...

[edit] I still don't see what was so bad about using Verdana? It's been the site's "signature font" for 12 years now. Kind of feeling really apprehensive about the upcoming layout change after this, tbh.

Don't see the "new" font only because I am using a custom one (Didact Gothic) using my CustomCSS. Whatever it is, it did mess up the sizes a bit

-time {font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12pt; border: 0px;} Changing it back to verdana might make it look a bit better. You can still adjust the size if you need to, and I find getting rid of the border just helps if it gets too big or looks cluttered or something. So I just take it off.

At first I wasn't bothered, but then I came across a large post, and wow. It really does strain the eyes. Idk what was wrong with the font before. Even that was still on the smaller side.

Please change it back, this change is horrible when you've been used to things for many many years, this font is horribly tiny

Now some of the text are small as mites. Better bring out the magnifying glass. Or microscope O_O

Edit: Looks like things are changed further. Time to adjust the CSS again.

I'm not sure many of the people commenting here are aware: Subeta has no font now. It uses your default font on your system. You can change that either on your computer or your web browser.

I'm not loving it. The font itself is okay. But the text size seems bigger now and I don't really like that. And the difference between bold text and non bold text seems extreme to me.

So I applied the CustomCSS change and it worked fine earlier on after a bit of tweaking, but now my sidebar looks okay but most other text (shop till, shop search results, forums, etc) is absolutely miniscule.. anyone know how to fix this? :x

I agree that it makes more sense for everyone to have the same font, at least IMO.

I'm on iOS so everything is set to Helvetica Nueu which is actually pretty nice so so far I'm liking this change.

i have my browser zoomed in at 125% so it is easy to read for my either way, though i don't like the fact that so many people's pet profiles are broken and the confusion of having 2 font choices. either way half the profiles will look wrong.
