This year is already halfway over... this is insane.
Here's to hoping that the last half of the year works out for everyone!
Not doing too bad! I bought Jeremy Injustice 2 as a belated birthday present (it was on the 21st), so we spent the weekend unlocking stuff to use in the game. It's pretty neat; there's a TON of different gear that you can use to increase the characters' stats (mostly for competitive online battles, which we don't really do - so for us, the gear system is basically 'DC Superhero Dress Up Game'). If we had a second controller for the PS4, we'd probably fight each other... but since we don't, we've been doing AI battles, occasionally fighting real people, and completing missions to unlock more gear.
I leave to take care of the Yorkies on Wednesday, so I need to start packing my suitcase soon. And then I'm going to have Injustice withdrawals, hah.
How cool ! I haven't played the game (actually this is the first time I hear about it), but I hope you both had fun! :D
Hubby played Bloodborne this weekend on the PS4, and I played Zelda BOTW on the Switch XD
I'm sure you can't wait to be with the yorkies haha, hope you don't get too many withdrawals XD
Hi All :)
Hello :) How are you today?
Not too bad, ! The people who come to cut the grass and do other yard work have caused my allergies to go into overdrive (I don't even have my window open, so what gives?), and I'm being incredibly lazy about packing for my house-sitting gig.
So instead of being a responsible adult and packing, I'm here on Subeta. :P At least I did my laundry last night, so I get some points.
Oh no, allergies are the worst!!! Sorry the grass cutting is irritating it :(
Haha adulting is over-rated anyway :P You definitely have one up on me! I haven't done my laundry in a week LOL!
Hi <3 Oohh what did you make?! I wish Javi's schedule was more normal and we could have dinner together :(
Nothing fancy today, I made surimi cocktail
here is a photo from the internet in case someone does not know what it is
I love Angel's schedule. He's off work at 3 pm. When things get complicated, he gets off by 4 pm max.
And he has only four or five 24-hour shifts at the hospital A MONTH.
[edit] You have received Long Lilac Patterned Sash from Pammy Thanks! :D
is that like coctel de camarones?
Oh my gosh!!! I'm jealous of his schedule :( Javi and I work opposites so I go to work at 8:30 and he usually goes at 2:00 pm :( I pick him up at around 10:00 or 10:30 and then pretty much come home and go to bed :(
It is except that instead of shrimp we use surimi (crab), because Angel's allergic to shrimp.
Sounds like a complicated schedule hun :( If he were working in Mexico, I'd never see him, as he'd be a slave from the hospital! I'm so grateful I can see him all afternoons, even if he's studying, he's home ❤️
Oh my gosh I love that!!!!! Every time we go to a Mexican restaurant we always get a huge one haha :D Mind sharing your recipe? <3
I'm glad you get to see him too!! Would he be that busy in Mexico because of a shortage?
I cut the surimi crab bars and put them into a bowl, the I cut some tomatoes and onion and mix them in the bowl; I add water to the top, put ketchup in until it's red red :P Then I add lemon juice, salt and pepper. I hardly ever go by quantities... but by trial and error until I like the taste :P
There's no really shortage, it's mostly slavery-ish. They work 36-48 hour shifts twice a week, most of the time... so residents prefer to take a bag and basically live in the hospital. If they make a mistake or don't get the correct answers in some way, they get punished with longer shift hours. It's insane, crazy, and stupid.
[edit] I'm off to dinner, then sleepy time ;)
Buh bye ❤️
Oh my gosh so easy!! The recipes I have seen all call for clamato X_X ew lol I'll have to try yours!!!
That's terrible! Making them work longer shifts solves nothing -.-
I am going to try to make that! It looks delicious :)
