Looks like everyone has had a lot of exciting news lately!

Also, I will be gone starting from tomorrow (my time...so...5pmish,,about the time this will be posted) until the 18th. I'm going to Camp Quality, where I volunteer as a companion. It's a camp for kids with cancer or who have a sibling or parent with cancer. It's always a lot of fun and at the same time very tiring. The first morning all the companions are always like "Where's the coffee?"

It's going to be a very busy 5 days for me. The sad thing is...I will lose my streak at the bath house...

Morn' everyone :) I've decided on a name for my new cat -can't remember if I said something here or not- Velcro. Yup, this cat is seriously joined at the hip w me, I take a step, he takes a step, I stop, he stops, everything sticks to him and him to me XDDD so he lives up to his name XD

I read about it on facebook , Love the name, suits him perfectly!

I'm glad everyone is doing fairly well, if just waiting for something to happen (camp, test results!)

I have been giving my friend rides to work while she waits for test results from her neurologist to allow her to drive again. I know she wants her freedoms back and I totally understand. I'm just thankful she's okay and so swiftly.

It's made my health a top priority -- I'm thirty in June!

thanks :) and wow, you is old now ;) hehe, its not so bad, 30 is a good year. I hope your friend's tests are swift, its super nice that you're able to offer her rides.

We work at the bookstore together, and we share some shifts together so it's not too bad! And I'm pretty excited for 30 -- I'm not daunted by the age, just having her health scare happen just made it seem more serious. Taking care of your body is so important and it's like I've been blindfolded D: Drink water, y'all! Don't get a heatstroke!

I learned that the hard way.... I hate water, just do, never been a fan. Guess who got a kidney stone a few months ago and had it for several long weeks. You think you know pain, take that, now magnify it to 10 to the point where the pain is so bad, its making you throw up. Yeah.... I drink a bottle of water every day, its still not great but its better.

wedsnesday april 18th.

I had a busy day yesterday i orderd a lounge set for my balcony. 2 chairs, table and a couch and for a nice price. They got deliverd yesterday. But they said until the side walk and not to my home... weird delevering orders. I got the boys so far they took it to my front door and the 3rd floor. I unpacked it and darnit the couch was broken at the headboard, and called the company where i bought it. They want pics and then they see if i get money back of a new couch (i want a new couch).

I put it all together (alone), so proud of myself. Took me 4 hours. So still waithing for the shop to contact me back but i am enjoying sitting outside.

Camp was great!

we aren't technically allowed to carry phones around...can only check during free time if we need too...but the times wouldn't have worked out anyways, plus there was very limited service where we were anyways
