I also haven't checked my damage yet...if I check now, I'll get lazy...lol.
I just get so annoyed that sometimes, I'm still out after one round...do you think I should spend some EXP on strength or something?
It's ok , I try to check until I am done battling for the day too so I won't decide to slack or procrastinate LOL I get it, it's very annoying, though if you use a full block along the specs you should be able to survive until turn 3 unless you get frozen in the first turn as well.
If you have enough points to round up STR to 1800, and HP to 2000 it would help. If you still have leftover points, I'd probably go to 2000 STR and that would make it a bit less stressful.
Sometimes I freeze him, but he still kills me...other times I am able to get at least three turns in... 1800 STR I can do...and I could probably do 2000 HP....time to take a break in battling to do that...lol.
If I remember to equip one,a Negating Pylonic...and normally my Bludgeon of Mass Extinction
I also have in Haneul's set at the moment: Phoenix Quill Rapier of Error Recycle Blaster Smoldering Slaglord Gauntlets Twisted Rift Blade Reborn Icewand of Doom
Rapier of Error would be a good weapon to use with Gelaspell to try and get the freeze to activate easier/often (both are have a low-rate for freezing)
What you need is a blocker you can use every battle in addition to the Negating Pylonic. I can lend you a Rainbow Vortex if you want ^_^ (For Tier 5 pets and above it blocks all icons and has a small chance to freeze)
are you sure?Don't you need it for your battles?
Oh, well then...yes please! I'll make sure it gets back to you when this guy is a puddle of goo
Got it! :D So should I use it with the specs? Or use it with whatever weapons I have? Is it a one time per battle?
If you use Specs+RV+Gelaspell you'll not only freeze him (Specs), but also block all damage (RV) and do damage with the scroll. This will allow you to have a second turn to attack him with the best things in your armory and the Gelaspell (maybe using rapier of error here hoping for a second freeze), and will manage to reach a third turn this way
(ETA; yes, the RV is used only once per battle)
Okay, that's good to know. Let's see how that battle plan plays out
It's interesting, the specs, plus RV, plus gelspel seem to do between 550 and up in damage. I do manage to freeze him (like you said), and then I use the Rapier with the Hammer and sometimes I do over 1k in damage...and little vampire matter appear under him...
Bludgeon of Mass Extinction (It always says 'you smash your hammer down...or something like that)
But what does it do to him? Those little image things always confuse me...lol...and Haneul did 1130 damage in his last turn before he 'died'
Nice damage ! is it an improvement from the battles before? Some weapons have effects they do when being used. If the effect benefits you, it's a blessing (and an icon will appear under your pet when it activates; the effect will be granted until the next turn, though). If it affects the opponent it's a curse (an icon will appear below the challenger when it activates; the effect will be granted until the next turn, just like blessings)
It works the other way around, though: an opponent's weapon may give him a blessing and/or curse you.
Since each weapon is different, the curses and blessings are different one from another, and most times are unique to the weapon. In the case of the little vampire matter from the Rapier of Error, it will inflict 5 icons of dark & fire (total of 10 icons of damage!) and even curses cannot be blocked. The duration of a curse (or blessing) may go from 1 turn to infinitely, and they have a % rate of activation that may be tiered to a certain stat or pet tier, and may even scale the rate with either.
