Hope you've all been doing well! I recently remembered how much fun I have baking with Fantine. Sure is frustrating when I burn the goodies, though. I'm finally level 3! To be honest, I want to bake the treats for Dauphin, but it's still rewarding making sure I refresh Fantine's kitchen in time to not burn the cookies. I'm making [item2=caraway seed cake] and it takes 40 minutes to bake. D:

Eek, you're braver than me! I want to love baking but I can't stand the chance of burning things and wasting my items, haha.

I keep re-editing my post, baha. I hoard bakery kits from the bathouse pools and keep raw items in the 'pantry' category in my vault. Some items are expensive, though! On par with cooking with saffron or truffles IRL, maybe! All these achievements for feeding your pet high demand, high priced cooking's goods like the compound butters, whew...

This is a nice distraction while I try not to watch the cakes burn, hehe

I'm so terrible. I open the baking bags and feed all the stuff to my gourmand, haha. Its easier than keeping track of stuff to buy.

I should probably start hoarding the leftovers at least. Maybe another gallery would make it easier. My vault is a trainwreck.

When the recent news mentioned new items to bake, I got bold enough to ask if anyone remembered a pet profile dedicated to fantine bakery and which items to buse, etc etc. [Url=https://subeta.net/pets/Baker]Baker is her name, baking is her game![/url] I've gone thru and added all the basics to my wish list and...if any more combos are made, I have a mini stash of possibilities. XP

That's awesome, though! I'm glad the link could be of some use for you; I'm hoping to knock out some baked goods before thinks to create achievements for baking with Fantine! I loved making the caroway seed cake because I may use it as a TC item for a still-uncreated fan pet (: I'm hoarding magic/dragon/poison/bee items in such a case! D: Excited! Good luck with your baking -- I had two burned items yesterday before I thought to set my cellphone alarm for 30 seconds BEFORE Fantine's timer so I can refresh 'til it's done baking. So far, it's a much more reliable technique!

I will keep that timer method in mind! I was worried about achievements too, lol. Some of the items are already needed for food eating achievements. Can you imagine needing them for baking too? Ick! :P Time to beat the rush!

Yay for walking , but is your ankle healed yet? The day has been good (lazy) so far :)

It is well enough that I can hobble around, haha. Not 100% though but still better than when I needed crutches! Just need to make sure I continue working on my muscle to strengthen it - don't want to sprain again :(

I hope you all enjoyed your Saturday evening! Summer has obviously been picking up and it's no fun in retail. My goal is to get in the sun and be as active as possible this summer. Tomorrow I'm going to a birthday party for my coworker's son... seems weird, I guess, but she throws a good party with a margarita machine and really cute cakes. Plus, it's Beatles themed, so I figure I just have to go ;)
