I had an awesome time in Oklahoma! But, it's nice to be back home.

Took my husband to the Dr. this morning to see latest x-ray and his neck is starting to heal so he is allowed to take his brace off for short periods so he can exercise to get the neck muscles strong again. We're very happy to finally see improvement 18 weeks after he fell. They told us it would be 6 to 8 weeks that he would have to wear the brace in the beginning. Old bones don't mend very quickly.

It's so great to have you back . Very happy that you could enjoy your baby grandson. Rest up and get well and strong again!

Hello. I just wanted to pop in to say hi because I realized I haven't been here in a few days. I'm ready for the weekend already. Lol and it's only been a short week at work. >.<

Our weather has gotten warmer and is above freezing. But instead of snow, it is raining a bit and making it very slippery. As soon as the sun comes out, I'll but on my gripper boots and put salt on the driveway and sidewalk so nobody slips and falls. Our driveway is on a slight hill so I couldn't back out yesterday afternoon until I shoveled and salted a couple of spots. Then when I did get out, I got stuck in a pile of snow the road grader put up on the side of the street and had to shovel again. He always plows out the mess he pushed in front of our driveway but the snow is getting so deep, the street is getting narrower. Soon they will have to start trucking the snow away soon. Too bad I'm not a skier or snow boarder then I would appreciate winter here.

You take it easy salting that drive & sidewalk.Our weather here is a little cold ,but no snow thank goodness.I have an idea you can send your snow if they end up trucking it away here to line the Inauguration route for our president for his Acceptance speech Friday hahahahaha You stay safe when your out there in the snow hugsss =)

. I should have read your advice and taken it sooner. I went out and salted. Then our pastor came over and broke the ice all up and shoveled it and the salt all away. Whipped up a fruit platter, and finished a pizza I had started. Kara had baked from scratch a German Sweet chocolate cake to celebrate Bruce starting to heal. So had that for dessert. So that was pastor Matt's reward for his labor. He stayed for almost three hours visiting. It was really nice. Bruce is taking a nap so it's play time for me for a while.
