If there was a button implemented to train all of your pets/a mass number of pets, how would it determine which stat to train the pets in? Would there be a drop down to select a stat and you would all of the pets in the same stat? What if one of those pets is maxed out in that stat until they up their level? Would they not be trained? O: Or would you be able to select the stats on the existing dropdowns for each pet? But at that point it feels like there's no point in the mass train button because you spent all of that time selecting the dropdowns for the pets. I usually just open a new tab when submitting multiple pets to training so I don't have to reload the page, so I don't know how much time it would save in the end.
I guess they would all have to be trained in the same stat? That obv wouldn't work for everyone, but it's something. And I guess if a pet can't train that stat they're just not put in training.
I believe it was (if not, sorry for the ping haha) that mentioned it on a different thread a long time ago and said he was on board with it, but this pairs nicely with this idea
instead of clicking on each pet once they're finished, you get a notification like "your pet is done with the session and gained X stat points" like you get from an autotraining session that way, you can instantly put them back in.
doing both of these suggestions at the same time would be great.
I think a page similar to the Quick Stock page would solve that problem. Let's call it a Mass Train page. How I imagine it, is that there would be 7 columns. The first one for the pets' images and a toggle option to view their stats and training times. The last column would be a "no training option", which is set to default (similar to the keep option. Then the rest five will correspond with level, strength, defence, health and speed respectively. If a pet is in training, all button will be greyed out/ unclickable. Same goes with any single stat which is at that time maxed out for a pet's level. That would prevent the all button from selecting them.
Or to make it less complicated, no buttons will be greyed out, but the owner will receive an error message if there is one or more pet who cannot be put intro training for a particular chosen stat. The owner then will have to go back to the mass train page to select the appropriate stat to train those pets, but all other eligible pets will still be put into training, just like how all items available in your inventory will be quick stocked even if one or two of them have been manually donated/ deleted in another tab/ window (I hope I make sense here?)
If the owner cannot remember which stats have been maxed out for a pet's level, changing the font colour for the maxed out stats to red would also help the owner to not click on the column for that stat, but to click on other columns where the stats are in black, for example.
Just my two cents. I'm pretty sure there will be other, better ways to revamp the main training page.
I support this. Never really got around to training a second pet because the system was so clicky (and I could barely get the motivation to go through the motions for one, let alone two.)
If there are radio buttons implemented for train or autotrain, then right next to them could be an alert radio button (so you could choose which pets to get alerts from when they finished training.) I'd support each pet having their own drop down box so you could choose which stat to focus on.
I really like the system that described, with the additions mentioned (like adding a tickbox at the end to autotrain, and a tickbox to enable an alert - which would be disabled for autotraining since that's an auto-alert).
I actively train about 20 pets right now, at all different stages. I'd like to train more/almost all of my horde if it was less tedious!
Although that said, there are a couple pets I have that I would like to keep at certain stats or not train - it would be really handy if I could toggle them somehow to not show up in the "mass train" page.

I haven't had a chance to read through this in its entirety (too many dances to try to return), but I do think there has to be a better way to put your pets in training. I only have 8 pets and I think it's obnoxious. I can't imagine trying to train 52! So much endless scrolling... cries thinking about it
